Welcome to our 24 Hours in Toulouse travel vlog. We stopped off at Toulouse to explore the 4th Largest city in France before we flew to our next country. We Spent the day exploring Toulouse, France with a Historical Toulouse Free Walking Tour before strolling along the river and then checking out the bars in the lively city.
Toulouse reminded us so much of our home city of Manchester. We only had 24 hours but we will defiantly be returning for a weekend city break Toulouse. The atmosphere was great, the people were friendly and the history was mesmerising.
Hopefully if you plan to stop off at Toulouse this short Toulouse travel vlog will give you a ideas of what to expect and where to go in this beautiful South France city.
IMPORTANT - Harry's walking tour was and still has been the highlight to our whole travels we honestly cannot recomment him enough. We did the Catherdral and Old Town tour. 10/10 5*.

It’s a beautiful city! Reminded us so much of our home city Manchester. 🙂
Without taking to the skies, the best viewpoint over the city is from the left bank, up on the walls overlooking Quai de l’Exil républicain. While you’re there, you can visit the museum of modern art Les Abattoirs (yes, repurposed abattoirs built in fabulous traditional Roman bricks) and chill out in the park or on the riverside. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit to my beautiful city.

Do you recommend visiting toulouse alone or shall I visit Bordeaux instead ?

We didn’t visit Bordeaux when we were in France so I couldn’t tell you what it’s like but I see no reason why you couldn’t visit Toulouse alone. It’s a beautiful city with lots of great history and the people we met all seem to be extremely friendly. The city also has a huge University population and students are “usually” very friendly and welcoming.

It’s pretty difficult to try and learn a new skill..
