Lines that give me genuine chills every time I hear them. This show was full of dialogue that shows just how different individual clones are from one another. Even with their individuality however; all off them loved their brothers and were more than willing to do anything to protect them and The Republic.
The Republic was not worthy of their sacrifices, and neither were the vast majority of the Jedi, least of all the Jedi Council.
don't forget "the missions, the nightmares, they're finally... over" and "i'm a soldier, like you!". They're all heartbreaking

My fav
It was
I agree
Fives deserved better. The sadest thing is how you know that echo wondered where fives was only to find him dead and his reputation tarnished while fives belived echo to be dead. :(
When I first watched A Distant Echo, I cried a bit when Rex looked at the photo of him, Cody, Fives, and Echo. He says:
“Fives... Echo... before that, Heavy... so many troopers gone.”
Even though he barely met Heavy, he understood the bravery of his actions, yet I’m fairly sure that only the audience knows how badass Heavy was at the end. Was such a sudden reminder of the series as a whole.
@@ZacksRockingLifestyle *hevy
You’ve made me tear up
99’s reaction is sad too
@@ZacksRockingLifestyle imagine if at the end of the 2nd episode Echo sayed something like: "where is Fives? Is he here to?"
99 wasn't defective he out of all of the clones he was the most real the most human, he wasn't programmed to want to help he just did, anyone else would have been resentful towards other clones for being perfect but he didn't. He was what the clones should have been-kind, compassionate, understanding, and a man of true honor and integrity. He was his own man. He was the perfect clone in my opinion. He was a true mandalorian, not just a clone but a living being all his own, a true warrior.
Well a mix of both Mandalorian and Coreillan cultures.
Gonna have to update this “when have we ever followed orders” was such a badass final line
The fact that I have more emotional connection to the clones than most popular media characters today really says a lot.

Something I enjoyed heavily about with the clones is how the writers didn't just have a bunch of the main characters fade into the background once the episode they were a big part of came to a close, or just leave us off with the assumption that they went on to have a virtuous military career and subsequent retirement. A lot of them would pop up later, usually becoming yet another casualty of the greater conflict. They weren't invincible, they were mortal just like any other. They gave us the time to get attached to each and every one of them, to get to know them, which made it all the more painful when they were taken away from us.
jeez man... i wasn't prepared to cry today

Great presentation! Love it!
Clone Wars' greatest achievement is turning the clones from drone-like background characters that really only served as a plot device, into actual individuals with so much diversity and unique characteristics and personalities.
Since I watched all of clone wars when clone 99 was killed really just made route me remember that scene
"Uh.. Do we take prisoners?"
"I don't."
This is basically the main reason why I love The Clone Wars so much, and while my reason for it is still very much commonplace, I still can't express properly how much I respect Dave Filoni and Dee Bradley Baker as well for basically humanizing the clones. They really gave a lot of the clones we saw on screen different personalities and made each one that had even the slightest form of development stand out from one another. While episodes that focus on other characters like Anakin, Ahsoka and even some of the other Jedi council members are all great, some of my favorite episodes revolve around the clones, including the battle for Kamino episode. Thank you for this video Allan!

Waxer should have been in this list. You grow attached to Waxer and Boil of the 212th on Ryloth, helping the little girl find her family, while evading the droids occupying the planet. You see the pair pop up in several other episodes, carrying out death defying missions, until Umbara, where Rex's group of 501st, and Waxer's group of 212th were set up to fight each other, convinced one another were enemies in clone armour. Of the men killed, Waxer was one of them, speaking his final words to Rex, telling him the same thing Rex's group was told, it was General Krell who set them up.
At least boil is not dead. I'm hoping he goes back to Ryloth and reunite with numa. Teaching her how to defend herself and not only looking after her but to her people too. It will be sad for her to hear waxer is dead.
I feel waxer wasn’t on the list because his death wasn’t honorable. Krell was playing both divisions of soldiers and waxer died by his own brothers gunfire. As heartbreaking as his death was, technically speaking it wasn’t honorable fighting the enemy.
@@alexstabenow4370 Krell got off far too lightly. That [redacted] should have been lowered, very, very slowly, feet-first into the lava of Mustafar.
