Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. Been lucky to go to all three games. Looking sharp and fit already. Will definitely hold our own in this league, No reason why Hashtag can't contend. A lot more close games this season to come. I was really shocked by Concords performance if I'm honest, although we did play excellent and looked like we were as fit and full flow as mid season standard 2 games in! Very unlucky against Dulwich as well to only draw.

yeah totally get why the ref disallowed the goal. If toby had gone in with his head and still clattered the dude, it wouldn't have been a goal, so him using the foot is probably the reason why the ref wanted a chat with him.

Honestly who doesn’t love tuning into weekly hashtag uploads, STEP 3 and Cup games deliver us more matches so we can watch the tags more 😂
Just shows the importance of squad depth
Broski it's step 3, not many teams can afford good subs let alone squad depth, this isn't pro football and players need to think about game time to further themselves

It’s not crazy to say that Joe may fancy a head coach role in the future. Devs was assistant to John Coventry at East Thurrock United in step 3 for a few years before he came to Hashtag.
National League keeper between the sticks, not a bad replacement that. Wishing Philpsy a speedy recovery tho

@@13skamuel15 He's good enough to get contracted to a fully pro squad in tier 5 or 6. I know tier 6 is only 1 level up, but Hashtag can't match wages and so on vs a pro team. Same reason they wouldn't be able to get Scott Pollock even though he's playing in tier 6. Having said that, idk what Alexis wants to do himself so there is a small chance Hashtag get the opportunity to sign him

he never got a game for maidenhead, a lower level national league team and played in an awful dover side the year before so maybe hes suited for this level
I think AT needs to be more clinical. These headers from 6 yards out, that last one, was just straight at the keeper. Still, love the fact that we are holding our own and looking like the better team in these early games. Toby one wasn't a goal, very high foot. Still, good, positive football. Up the Tags!!!

This is my first time watching a hashtag United season and I amazed to think that your a newly promoted team fighting for draws and wins against team that have come down from the vanarama leagues this team has major potential and I’m sure I will be watching when they are in elf league two.

been a fan since the legendary manjdog era and I'm really impressed with the level of football from both the league and that which is demanded of the tags. I think one crucial element of this step compared with the last is the physicality, as a viewer in the future tense it has become more and more noticeable but again glad to see the tags match their opposition on this front too. my local is chatham and so I hope to make it for that display, not sure which crowd ill be cheering with though?!

Sully will be taking that starting role when he’s fit if AT can’t find the net more reliably though. He’s looked amazing so AT really needs to push.

results haven't done justice to the performance of the team in the opening 3 days. easily could of have had 9 points, but they've gone up against some insane luck from other teams to keep the ball out of the net. excited for the season!!

AT needs to work on composing himself infront of goal, each week now hes gotten himself into great positions only to put the ball straight at the keeper/wide. Idk whether he panics and just tries to direct the ball goal bound or what, but at this level and above theres needs to be a degree of placement. He should be burying that ball he stole off the keeper every day of the week, no need to bomb it like he did, just pass it in. If he can work on taking his chances he'll be incredible, his positioning is already great.

moreover im not a coach or a football expert but i feel like cornish doesnt show us really what he cant do as a central midfielder he looked sometimes outmuscled by the opponent so thats why i think pk should be the center mid and cprnish should be the cam pk played center mid pretty much all of last season so we know he can play there well
