Out of interest how did you discover Wrexham
What intrigues me about R&R is this: Even before their Wrexham involvement, they were living their best lives - industry recognition, huge commercial success, great families, lucrative sidehustles... And now here they are, in tears over a 5th tier Welsh football club getting promoted.
I'd love to ask them the question - what was missing from their lives they didn't know they needed?

Even though Ben played a big part getting them across the line in the last 7 games, the rest of the lads deserve massive respect for what they've achieved this year. Incredible, and the fact they have accepted a Prem player like Ben to come in and get a lot of the glory without a shred of resentment, just shows their character. They just want what's best for Wrexham AFC simply happy that Ben has managed to help up the profile of the club even more. But like I said, most of the season it was the rest of the lads that got them to this position, so hats of to them, and hats to Ben for being the humble and positive force that he is.
What a story, bet Disney are wetting themselves for when this comes out. Football in this country is incredible, this is non-league football and look at the support and emotions. What a beautiful game this is, brings communities together and makes for amazing memories. Well done to everyone involved.
Remember that Ben Foster is an former Wrexham player. He's simply an former star player returning to help the club when they really needed him. He's not just any former premier league player. He was already a star at the club. Ben Foster played for Wrexham when Man Utd signed him

Nothing comes close to being a fan of a small local club, I have been a United man since I was 8 but I've also always been a supporter of Port Vale. There is absolutely nothing like supporting a small town club, the feeling you get with every win is infinitely stronger than it is in the prem at a top half club because you feel far more of a part of it and with the larger emotional investment comes larger enjoyment from success
Starting with Ted Lasso and now with Wrexham, I think a lot more Americans are tuning in to the game. Maybe not for the game itself (yet) but for the undeniable vibes.

What Ben is doing will lead to something quite revolutionary in how football is watched on TV and online. I'm here for it!
What they need is a Referee who wears a mic and camera all game. And you can choose to watch the game from that perspective, similar to what Ben is doing with his chest camera....It would be fascinating to me plus for viewers at home everyone would switch to that view if there is a meeting between the ref an team captain or teams surround him, or with linesman to make a huge decision hearing the logic and their perspective.

I have to say Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are the absolute dream owners of a club. What they’ve done to bring attention to the non league club through great marketing is just unbelievable, and the time and money and passion they have for the club is clear for all to see. On a side note it’s great to see McElhenney finally getting the attention he deserves because the guy is the creator, writer and actor in my personal favourite Tv show of all time It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the only American comedy I’ve seen that is as dark as a UK comedy and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it

The storyline is the most insane part of it. They lost in the promotion play offs last season, they think they’re finally gonna win it this year and then Notts County goes ahead of them. Foster saves a crucial penalty, and they go on to win it in the next game. Just beautiful.

Dude, I’m from Australia, and I was teary eyed and jerky. Not for the Hollywood story, but for the massive amount of fans who have been dying to see their team succeed. The passion is absolutely fucking wonderful to see. Some people might have everything in life, some might have nothing, but passion is something we all have. It doesn’t matter what it is, just be passionate. Having that one thing you care about is enough to keep you going, be it a sports team, family, friends or whatever. If you’re gonna do something, do it the best you can. You’re never useless, you might play a small role, but you’re still not useless. I actually teared up all over again watching this. I've been a Wrexham fan for over 30 years and have had some good times (not least the LDV Vans final with BF is goal!) but this is especially sweet after the last two decades which have been mostly bad times! Thank you Rob, Ryan, Humphrey, Parky, Fozzy, Mulls and all the players. Incredible

This is so surreal, it started for me with a mate telling me about this new series on Disney+ about some football club in Wales (I‘m Swiss btw) and it ended with me watching you guys live on my commute home yesterday. What an incredible story, I‘m so happy for the whole town and of course you and the lads. This is just bonkers. And seeing two hollywood actors in tears, this story is nuts. From Germany and yeah, I was at home and when I realised that I had nothing going on I needed to find a way to watch the game and I did and man, what a game, all the feels. I can only double and trible underline everything you said. Btw. Perfect Sports Weekend for me. NY Knicks won twice, HSV wins Hamburger Stadt-Derby in a bonkers game, BVB wins 4-0 against Frankfurt and is back on top of the Bundesliga and Wrexham wins and is promoted.
