Man life happens and I had to get rid of 90% of my retro games. I still love being around it and want to get involved in the industry in some way. I think I’ll re-collect a small portion of games but shifting my focus towards emulators more these days. Gave my collection to some new collectors so they can have a jump start in collecting. I know it’s hard for new collectors to jump in with prices and seasoned collectors as well to continue, but it’s hard to give up the thrill of the hunt.
Awesome video Reggie! It was great to hang out with you and talk movies and games! 36:15 Glad they went to a good home. It was neat to hear some history from you. I forgot a charger? Ha, I guess you can use it as much as you need. Maybe we shall meet up in the future sometime! But Game On was a time to remember. Definitely a highlight of the year!
I got to see you at show , it was on Saturday while walking trough the floor , I turn around from looking games and I see you. My reaction was slow lol I just said Reggi and tap your shoulder. man i just gotta say... wish more CZcamsrs did this.... take your time.... go slow pave thru the games, not miss a line... give enough time for us to pause..... Like i feel part of convention now. Not to mention..... tutor by a gamer. Thank you. Thanks for Years also for Hidden Gems with Metal Jesus. Especially on imports... you might be main reason i gotten into important some games, that i manage to track down with english subs/txt.

Hey Reggie. Tunic is fantastic. Its slow paced and very puzzle orientated. One of those games where you just have to check everything to find all the hidden spots. If you have time and patience - you will love it!

I LOVE P.N.03. Easily one of my most favorite Gamecube games. It's basically a rhythm-shooter with fantastic art direction and enemy designs. It's an arcade game at heart, so it's all about the high scores and replay value. Terribly underrated imo.

Growing up walking into all sorts of video game shops through the NES to current gen its amazing to see all these games together, i wish video game stores like GameStop still flourished and weren't mainly merch based now

some of the going prices for these games makes my heart hurt. the expo looks like a lot of fun nonetheless! respect to big john and all the hard work he's put in over the years.
Tunic is brilliant, apart from some of the boss battles being ridiculously hard. Unfortunately I'm on the last boss and gave up as I just was not enjoying it. Such a shame that these battles soured such an amazing game.

Is there anything better than retro collecting? The prices of new BS has put me out of that category, so im looking for deals now!!! Seriously 70 to 80 after tax is insane to spend. FFS, 4 games you can buy a console now.... Its just sad bc the games arent even finished or they're Buggie AF now... I hope this isn't the way forever... Pno3 is just kind of an empty game I didn't really enjoy it as much as many of the Capcom games there are it's probably the lowest on the totem pole for me but I mean it's a game I'll give it that. Also your voice over for Tunic didn't go through something went wrong. Cool video Reggie

I dont understand why anyone would buy sealed games.
ARGH! I used to collect PAL games on the PS3 but, I quit a long time ago. I think I have a few PS4 games but, I just can't do it. I've ordered games on Amazon and Amazon sends me the PAL versions and I send them right back, ESPECIALLY if the artwork thats the item I bought is clearly the NTSC version. That box art is JUST SO TACKY LOOKING! Even the NTSC-J versions still look better, simply because it's so much like an American release, however, with publishers getting more lazy NTSC now covers English, Spanish, and French which is annoying but, yeah, those PEGI advisories just make that artwork an abomination. It sticks out like a sore thumb. A lot of gamers go way out of their way to avoid Platinum Hits, Greatest Hits, and Players Choice games because that grey, green, or yellow pops out so bad and just screams in your face, PEGI advisories have that same effect. Ergh! They're so tacky looking with the variation of colors too that just ruin the box art. At least with the NTSC-J Aero advisories they're black and white so they just blend, they don't pop out and scream in your face. PEGI advisories are like having a Bargain Sale Price sticker permanently stuck onto whatever you'd buy you'll never be able to get off. Yuck. In fact, that actually determined a game I just ordered that I got for the Switch instead of the PS4 because it was so hard to land a non-PAL version of the game but getting the Switch version non-PAL was no problem. I've never decided on a version of a game to get based on that. Ergh, getting a Collectors Edition and bragging about it with a stamp like that on it, for me, nah......
