This story is 1 of my all time favorites ,I listen for 2 hrs every evening before bed and this story I've been listening to twice a week for over a month now.

I love these vintage sci-fi radio programs. I've listened to hundreds of them. This one's probably my all time favorite. Wonderful story, well written and very well acted and produced.
I like a story that is neatly told and doesn't strain the reader or listener or watcher too much to understand what on earth the story is about.

interesting how people felt at the time of the bombings. they thought the war with Japan would go on for at least a year being won slowly island by island. But, it didn’t!! by the time i was born in September, it was over!! that feels very weird. the Bomb ended the war. i can’t believe i would have had my babyhood during WWII !! that feels like a pall over my babyhood until i was 5. and i’m feeling it more cause of the cloud over our lives now. (July, 2024 - a cloud of “Brave New World”.)

Maybe the reason he was sent back was to save that womans life...maybe she was pregnant with an important child! Bc that was the one thing that was changed.

Great story, but they've changed the ending. It ends with his son planning his political career. Another Piper story makes reference to the father's run for president and his brilliant campaign manager, his son.
6:24 of this 25-minute video gone and I still don't know what the story is about - sounds like the guy's son got badly wounded in a battlefield or maybe he was having a very strange past-life dream or something but I am not sure.

It now seems at about 10:00 of the video that the story has nothing to do with the son who was having a bad dream at the beginning of this drama because now a crazy guy borrows a gun from the other guy ostensibly to shoot his mad or dying dog but in fact to murder his wife! The story seems to be impromptu and the plot keeps changing! What next?

All the comments below praising this dull story are false and artificial. Why not be honest and thus help the fledgling author grow instead of giving false and insincere praise and not letting the author develop the necessary skills? False praise is the worst enemy of any author or singer etc.

seems to be a novice in the genre of science fiction or any thriller fiction - the story doesn't grab the listener's attention right from the very start as it should have - it wastes words - it is too rambling - too much waste motion
