- You are not supposed to believe this story, and if you ask Sam Yoder about it, he is apt to say that it’s all a lie.
Aired 31st October 1956, on X Minus One - Science Fiction radio series broadcast from 1955 to 1958 on NBC Radio

Thanks NT for sharing this classic piece of quality sifi, 👌 There's food for thought in these timeless masterpieces as well as entertainment 😀😉😄👍😋👌
Funny stuff.
The Million Dollar Movie and Slapsie Maxie Rosenblum. hi guys, who know about these. you’re my age and grew up in the New York area :) We also know who those other people and shows mentioned were. we sure were lucky kids 😄😂🌷🌱
This was a true story ..
But when cell phones took over ...the voice time machine became obsolete
The mention of Nixon/Kefauer gave me the clue why Sam sounds like Archie on Duffy's Tavern radio show in the 40's. Played by Ed Gardner.
I swear that sounds like Betty White
That sounds like Betty 50 years ago
Denis, exactly
Good old Sam, I love it, continue on then.
Just discovered Murray L - fantastic writer.
Amazingly Talented - the guy was incredibly Prolific....he also conceived of the Internet...calling it a "Logic"
Play it again Sam .
Gotta love x minus 1...beats heck outta anything they try to pass off as entertainment nowadays
Pretty damned great
gretaness!
The music is annoying but other than that it’s funny
brilliant
