Everything is coming together nicely. The singer, the concept, the song, the music, the video and the catchy tune, which stuck in my head from the first time I listened to it. And I also like that Stefania is presented as she is...a 17 year old, doing normal things teenagers do. And not like a teenager who is in a rush to grow up and act like an adult.

In a sea of bland generic songs, this will bring some greek realness on stage and this is definitely a good thing for the competition. With a good staging it can be the surprise of the night.

our favourite superg!rl till now, but the whales like Bulgaria, Russia and hopefully this year Sweden as well, are not here yet.
The lyrics do have a corny feel and does sound slightly disconnected but it is catchy

It annoys me because the only reason it's a big deal is because she looks younger then some other 17 year old, that doesn't mean that she isn't as mature as the others.
Its too childish honestly, I like our entry, but I'm 17 and I would never want to sing "I'm a supergirl" like I'm 5. Then I would prefer singing "yes, I'm gonna like it"
I don't think you get the message of the mv. It's about being accepted by society even when you're different and having the confidence to be your true self which is actually a very mature massage.
I feel like this song sounds some years ago, maybe 2013 or something. It is slightly dated. This is nothing groundbreaking, it should not win, but it will easily qualify in that joke-like semi 2.
Personally I do not like it.
A typical Greek ethnic-pop stuff and an expected basic Kontopoulos material. The girl doesn't sound as the best singer either, at least in the video. It could have been an ok entry for 2008, but now it's 2020. From Better Love to this one is not a good succession.
Matt, I told again, be sincere and not political correct. In this very mediocre year till now, you like EVERYTHING. You give me the impression that you try to please everyone. But you are not a pop idol to die to be liked by everyone. Bring the old Matt back.
On the contrary it's radio friendly, accessible and contemporary. Bear in mind that Better Love got the worst result for a Greek entry in the final so this is a wise move for Greece.
@@manospapas5349 It's not accessible, it's basic. And it could have been contemporary 15 years ago. Better Love was an excellent song with a totally wrong staging. Now we have a bad song that can't be saved by any staging.
@@Marios_Gr Supergirl is an age appropriate contemprary ethno bop with a message of empowerement performed by a 17 year old which makes it the most accessible entry that Greece has ever sent to Eurovision. Better Love did not just fail in the telelevote but in the juries as well which goes to show that it wasn't just a matter of staging. If you think that staging can not elavate a song to the next level then you do not know Eurovision!

I like the sound of the song, but that's kinda it. The lyrics and video are bad and I hope the staging in Rotterdam will be better than this.
The lyrics are empowering and age appropriate, which sends a great message for young girls everywhere.

You said it yourself, the instrumental is a bop which would explain the hype around Supergirl! As for the lyrics they're about female empowerement while being age appropriate.

Supergirl has NO Greek element. Ethnic yes, Greek no. The drops are Turkish/Middle Eastern, no Greek.
