Sairam the swaras are dancing on the veena with the rhythm. The raga is Kadanakuthoohalam and itself is so joyfully immersed in the song. After Chittibabuji no comparison both are different this song is played in a varied jazz dimension showing Rajeshjis rich Manodharma and Pandithyam. Like a torrential pouring if rain from heaven we are immersed in divine harmony. Stay blessed Rajeshji and your team.

I come from that type of background, and for too long our musicians have been immobile and unfeeling when they express their love for god. So what if he moves and smiles as he plays the divine lyric?

The Veenai in carnatic music is not always enjoyable but Rajesh Vaidya has given a totally new dimension to this beautiful instrument and I can never tire listening to ,his renderings.
This video seems to have offended some. But isn't art is all about learning something off the books and using creativity to extend it? Vaidhya has just done that. He is not performing; rather he is living his music and it shows. Hard to imagine how this could depressing anybody. Hats off to his skills.
