So far getting pretty solid result from this gem in PVP and I believe in the upcoming weeks and months this gem will get more popular. Hands down one of the cheapest gems I ever upgraded.

It isn't completely bad its just that gems that bring damage only will always be weaker than gems that do other things. Especially for whales, damage in PvP is not an issue they need to solve.
Bone spike and Dark curse of Necromancer should get their own empowered primary attack.
Tired of Grim scythe and Corpse lance getting all the new essence

I have found stormvault to be very useful in the battlegrounds.
That little hurricane passes right through every barrier; I have been killed multiple times in a safe zone.

This gem is great in PvP, it's just like if you have your own Hurricane. Even at rank 1 it creates a great area of denial!

I didnt burn the free Stormvault, I am using it as aux gem of starfire cuz I dont need CC or dmg, I need procs to trigger freeze and this damn gem do it pretty well
Maybe if you spend a bunch of money and Diablo but for free to play or low paying players, I think it works pretty good.
That you be nice if u could do more live stream of farming upgrading gears and gems and live pvp. There is not much diablo immortal content on YT.. and using wizard.. but indeed it is as you feel. Ggs

Try it with shock helmet + new chestpiece and it will work wonders
I am enjoying it with my arcane wind freeze builds in PVP. Almost rank 8 now.
No point in buying crests if you can't sell your Gems. They need to decrease the prices of crests.
1600 plat to get a 1* more than half the time, I don't know the exact RNG rate.
1* gems sell for 600-700 plat consistently on my server. That means I can almost get 3 gem power if I spend that plat directly from the market.
Sometimes I'll get 2* but aside from something desired like pain clasp or vipers bite, these still go for mid 2k, barely a profit over the 1600 plat.
So essentially you're rolling a ton of crests for that very small chance of getting a 5* which STILL only goes for 30-60k plat depending on which gem. Which you'd break even from negative after approximately 20-25 crests.
So yeah, essentially crests aren't worth their cost anymore.
Market prices are lower that’s nice but they have so many different gems now chances of getting one on a run is far less likely and it also lessens the availability in them getting to market. They need to dump the bound unbound concept so more gems can come into circulation.
This gem is the new "Void Spark".
No one really knew what to make of it, missed a lot of its capabilities, and wrote it off early.
Amusingly, given that I main as Sader, I saw it's potential right out of the gate for objective area denial and went in for it early.
Almost feel bad for the poor guy I bought a 5/5 off of for barely over 350k early on.
Now I just have to stop procrastinating and run for the dupes I need (currently R6) before the 50% ends. Heh.

I really like the gem in pve and pvp nothing to complain about and on top of it it’s very cheap

In BG it barely tickles enemy. It doesn't even stop bandaging. I don't believe content creators are able to control the market like that, players just came to their own conclusion it is not great.
It just takes a dash skill to evade and Tempest is all about dashing. As a player using Tempest I hope he encourages more people to use it in BG one less dangerous thing to worry about.
Everyone has it, in Bg it is impossible to dodge every one of them, I use it as a monk because I got a 4 starts one, and I like it. The tempest will be nerfed eventually and all of you will change class and u will not have 100.000 dashes and it will be even better :)

This gamę is very situatuonal. In PvP it have problemems with hitting anything. In PvE it can only be usefull on bosses. You're saying it is good cuz one class with particular one skill can hit enemies in BG? Ok.
Nah, I said it’s decent and gives me extra stuff to hit players in bg without even getting close to them or using extra skills. Plus hitting doesn’t matter, no one is going to tank this gem sitting on idol, specially rank 8 gem damage.
I ran into someone using that set up in BG and using a dash on my Tempest just zipped away. The test dummy is immobile, so yeah convince your viewers to waste……I mean use this gem and skill in BG. 😂
You know, that's the point of a dash, with this logic u can evade pretty much everything :))) that does not mean the gem is bad. Not everyone uses 10.000 dashes.

You just pointed out its fundamental flaw without recognizing it. Who is going to accommodate your wish and stand in it. Every one of my encounters with this is easily avoided with a dash and while your firestorm is on cool down and your target is either long gone or unloading on you. Why you would think your intended target would sit still while you attacked is beyond me. Probably a great attack in PvE where the boss is pretty much stationary sure go for it.
Bro, u will stay in it. It stays on you if you have gladiator and wait for respawn, killed a lot of people that way, if it triggers on the idol, u need to get away. If your dash is on cooldown u cannot escape it :)) also it finds the next person if you manage to get away. You don't need to use it if you don't like it. It's ok :))
@@bogdan8946 Lol no I won’t stay in it a dash skill on Tempest gets you away pretty much instantly. Haven’t been caught by the bathtub swirl yet. Edited to add by all means use it, one less serious threat to face in BG.

@@MarcAyouni Spend a dash? I have 3 with cool down literally where use 1 and by the time I use the other 2 the first one is available again. Someone suggested I stand in the middle and wait for it to harm me, I did, it didn’t.
