As Easter weekend approached, I found myself with a special treat: the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander 4WD Limited HV in its "Ruby Red" coat. With a list of errands and gatherings filling my schedule, I decided to put this SUV through its paces, all while reflecting on the Easter spirit of renewal and abundance.
Church. As I navigated the streets in the Grand Highlander, I couldn't help but appreciate its engineering marvel which I still have to wrap my head around: the Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT) engine. This innovative technology seamlessly adjusts gear ratios for optimal performance and fuel efficiency, a crucial factor during city driving. I marveled at how the ECVT engine contributed to the impressive 36 city mpg rating, ensuring that every drop of fuel was maximized for my journey and not worry about the next charging station or gas station.
Next, I made my way to Serafina Coffee Shop for a meeting. It wasn't a long drive and gave me time to admire the Grand Highlander's interior and spacious cabin. With three rows of seating and 20-inch Alloy Wheels gliding effortlessly over the road, every passenger I had in the vehicle that week was treated to a smooth and refined ride. The hands-free power liftgate and rain-sensing wipers further enhanced the convenience, proving their worth on a drizzly Sunday morning.
With my granddaughter in tow after her theater practice, we embarked on a journey to the yogurt shop. Speaking of "TOW" the Grand Highlander has a 3,500 towing capacity. On our way to the sweet shop, the multimedia screen, boasting a generous 12.3 inches, kept us entertained and informed with its intuitive interface. And with 13 cup/bottle holders scattered throughout the cabin, we found a playful use for them. I couldn't resist putting a few Easter eggs in the Toyota and in my red high heel, embracing the spirit of abundance and adventure that Easter represents.
As the weekend culminated in a joyous Easter dinner for 17 people, the Grand Highlander proved its worth as the ultimate family vehicle. While I may have never experienced the grandeur of a GRAND Highlander before, I was now a true believer in its capabilities.
My visit to Toyota of Surprise, Arizona, was the perfect place to take the Grand Highlander. It was a 45-minute ride in stop-and-go traffic and freeway. I got to see just how the HV saves on gasoline.
In conclusion, the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander 4WD Limited HV exceeded expectations, blending performance, comfort, and utility in a grand display of automotive excellence. As I reflect on my Easter weekend adventures, I'm reminded of the importance of seizing every opportunity and embracing the journey, whether on the road or in life.
