Our oline coach literally said bates and Shelton are in a competition
I have more trust in Caleb to get rid of the ball quicker imo.. I'm not as worried
I still think this is a prove it year for Nate Davis.
Last year, the OL was probably ranked 20th, not due to JF1, but because of injuries and the center position...
JF didn't help matters
Justin was half the problem
He held onto the ball to long big reason why this online is not the worst but not the best average
It’s funny how JF1 was some of the problem yet we went and got a QB that holds the ball also and restructured our weapons and coaches.
@acbc2001 because he clearly saw justin was not a good qb he is a running qb first the throws the ball well justin is not a pocket passing qb he Isa dual threat aka lamar jackson not a lot of passing yards per game
Curious, does or doesn’t having a quarterback that can or have the ability to anticipate a throw or pass. So watching Caleb’s throws in college of course his feet work was so quick getting into position to make an anticipated throw or a dump off. He(Caleb) did that mark my word he’s going to be better than anyone is thinking and if he’s already better or faster the OL doesn’t have to work as hard they’ll stay fresher longer boom.
We can't think Davis and Jenkins goin to play 17 games I 100% think if price is right bears should bring in Williams
Just like everyone, definitely worried about Nate Davis. If he isn’t ready Day 1 of training camp that’s a problem.💯💯💯
They were great when Tyson Bagent played..... Justin was sacked once every eight drop backs on average and Tyson was sacked once every 26 drop backs on average.... With the same O line.... These # come from Jim Miller on the bears podcast with Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer..... Add the fact that they are a great run blocking line and I can see top ten in the league....
Not with Nate Davis starting. We don't know what will happen with Teven. We have moderate, unimpressive Centers. The OL is very dodgy.
Will they be 11th or better? ..it will depend on Caleb's play & if he's getting the ball out & how balanced the play calling is. If you keep defenses guessing they can't ever get into a rhythm. Our oline could be considered elite
I would go get Connor Williams and a edge rusher
One of these days, we're going to lose Pat the Designer to ESPN or NFL Network, etc etc. He's too good and has gotten so polished as Host. He makes the time fly regardless of which analyst/expert is on this show or his Windy City Breeze POD. Informative and always entertaining! Keep it up PAT!!
Sure, and I look like Brad Pitt 😂
The line wasn’t healthy last year and we didn’t have the weapons we have this year. We should be better at Oline
I believe going to the season as is on O-line is ok as we’re approaching the salary cap. With next year’s draft capital they can get studs along o and D lines and set themselves up for years of success. All hail GM Poles!
🐾⬆️🐻⬇️
The opposing defense ran up the middle of our offensive line every other play. The only thing poles did to address it was get rid of that Green Bay center Lucas Patrick which he brought in and got a couple of no name interior line man. Caleb will not survive.
Is this Cedric The Entertainer's son?
Pff listening Hendrix music? More like the bottom ten unit of the nfl. But I'll take what they are havin'
N, far from it being set.
You don’t need a top 10 oline to win a superbowl chiefs had awful tackle play last year burrow is proof etc
Bears fans have a lot of ignorant thoughts about the o-line. If Davis is the sure starter which he will be, with a new center, they have good depth on the whole line and a couple of high end starters.
This is probably the most negative podcast. I’ve seen you do I’m actually quite shocked.
no it is not the 11th best that is way too high. Braxton is fine but we can do much better. I feel like Braxton is a depth piece
Nate Davis sucks ass. We have no center . Caleb out by week 4
No it cant lol😅😅 Braxton Jones Ryan bates Sheldon nate Davis = Not good lol
