My military experience was one where "minorities" were the vast majority of my entire senior chain of command at every duty station for 16 years. You know how much racism I encountered. 0. You either did your job and were an outstanding Soldier. Or you didn't do your job, were a dirt bag and was chaptered out of the military; regardless of race, gender, religious affiliation.
These "issues" only seemed to become a "problem" when Democrats took control of the DoD, White House, and Senate.
Now everyone wonders why the military cant fill it's ranks.
It's not the BS excuses the DoD provides. NCOs are trained to fix all these excuses. Infact that is literally one of the core components to why we have NCOs. To train, mentor Soldiers. If our current NCOs are no longer capable of training Soldiers to lose weight, pass an ASVAB, pass an APFT, or to build a Soldiers confidence and character....the next war is already lost.
The reason you cant get recruits is because everyone knows in the middle of a fire fight you must rely on the Soldiers to your left and right regardless of personal beliefs, race, political beliefs, religous beliefs, or gender. Those Soldiers are your extended family and there is nothing you will not do for them. Once this Regime came into power they created an environment where these beliefs were no longer in existence. This Regime went to great lengths to purge our military in the name of the COVID gods. This Regime pulled the rug from under our troops in Afghanistan and showed this country and the World that they care nothing in their beliefs and will betray their own at their own and their allies at their convenience. How many people are still stuck in Afghanistan? General Retired Milley couldn't even give Congress an estimated number. So much for no man left behind.
These are just a few examples of why the military can no longer meet it's goals or missions. The entire Senior Chain of Command is a total and absolute failure to all of their oaths and the American people see it. The remember what we did in WW2 will not work again.
Our open borders and "illegal immigrants with ties to ISIS" tells the American people their duty is to defend their country here at home. To do that they dont need to be in a military uniform in some foreign land.
Infact if and when this country is hit again this entire government regardless of Party; be they Democrat, Republican, CIA, FBI all need to be held accountable for their failures to adhere to the very oaths they spout when convenient. Once they are held accountable for their crimes and failures then we can figure out how to handle the attackers and do so as a truly united nation.
Until this happens the division in our country will only continue to grow. We need not worry about Russia or China. Our own government is going to destroy this nation from within. From top to bottom, bottom to top. Our enemies merely need to wait and get into position.

Pass an ASVAB? Gotta wonder at your military service.... A little eduvation. The ASVAB is a standardized test to determine which jobs a civilian might be capable for in Military Service. Cutoff is where they are not suitable for enlistment, at all. Reading, writing, arithmetic insufficient. It is not administered to active military, so no NCO's required to get them to 'pass' it. This is same metric as IQ tests. No pass or fail, just a point below which aspirant is undesirable for entry.
Now, for why military recruitment is down? Half the country is proclaiming military is 'woke' and useless, the other half screaming it's part of a fascist regime to prop up an unfit president. Sprinkle in pay a McDonald's employee would scoff at, and answer is a bit more readily apparent
@@charlesmartin7536 Yeah...see there was a time when NCOs, Recruiters would go the extra mile to help SMs and or potential SMs prepare for the ASVAB by helping do something called studying and in some cases teaching. This allowed for current SMs to improve their scores and potentially reclass to a different career field within the military and in the shoes of a recruiter this extra effort assisted the potential recruit to get the career field of their choice, thus guaranteeing the potential SM would enlist. That is what it means to be a NCO and that is what I meant by passing an ASVAB. Good for NCO, Good for SM, Good for Military, Good for Country. Guess that isn't trained anymore.....

I served because I wanted to give back to a country that gave my family so much. To serve something bigger than myself. To do public service. The pay never entered my mind. But since you bring it up the pay is very good for an 20 year old. Your medical, dental, vision is paid for. Your housing is paid for. Your food is paid for. When I was a Corporal I was rolling in the money. Every cent I had went to chasing pussy and drinking. I had money when my civilian friends had zero after paying their bills. Hell the Marines even paid for my college AND books. In 1986 when I reenlisted I got a $10,110.000 bonus. Tell me what 23 year old gets that bonus? It’s not the pay holding them back. I held my kids back because our military lost its vision. Many people make our job too complicated. We are not a test bed for stupid social experiments. We have one job. To locate, close with and destroy the enemy with fire and maneuver. In other words we kill folks and breaks things. That all we do. And if a squad leader isn’t up to the job the squad will make sure he leaves, Whether he is black, white or yellow we don’t fucking care. Do your job. I proudly did mine. I left the Corps a Sergeant. I lost a good friend at the end of Desert Storm. But today those good kids are few and far between..but they are still signing up and serving.

I didn't want women to be Army Rangers and was very vocal about it.
Then I lost my job in the army...

The target of the initiative was to remove from service those whose ideals of the military are specific race, creed, color, religious and sexual preference. Attacking those who do not fit their image of who belongs.
Missing the point, for her, is par for the course. Since the purpose of every military member, whether THEY know it or not, is openly stated on day one. Defend and uphold the constitution of the United States, and obey (lawful) orders of POTUS. Yes, if the land is threatened, hasn't happened in a while now, troops will defend it. But for a long time now, troops have been shipped off to support allies, or even as a symbol that America is around. To keep belligerents in check.
