My father in Law too. My father in law went and came back home with a massive heart attack and exposure to agent orange. And my dad went to do his physical. There it was found out that his dad had just died leaving him head of household plus I had just been born the same month my grandfather died. Which made my dad head of 2 household. And they did not send him. It caught him off guard because he thought he was going to war and there was no way out. My grandmother had been praying for a way out, but having her husband die and her 17 year old son have a child was not her choice either. Be carful what you pray for.

As a former soldier in the US army I’d say Absoltuely resist . My time in the army while rewarding to a degree was absolute shit. I realized I was serving politicians and rich men, to die for their interests. Afghanistan was for nothing. Don’t die for men who don’t care about you

No one should be forced it should be elective. That said, it’s only males that are forced, females are excluded from this? Other countries, EVERYONE within a specific age is included.
