- Hi all,
Yup, I got absent for a period of a time, but finally I am back :)
Today with a video of how to Clean the #AC & change the #polen filter on RHD #renaultmegane3 without removing any plastics.
It was not easy, and yes I had be using a lot of swear words when doing it, but it is possible to be done by yourselves at home without any mechanic.

hello friend I am watching your video on how to change the filter which seems very complicated to change I thought it would be on the passenger side but it is not next to the clutch pedal I could not do it for manual
Hi Cristian, for manual you need to take out the clutch and only after that you will be able to change the filter… 🥲
Originally, the Renault cars are designed for right-line drive (the drive seat is on the left side of the car). In this case the air filter mounting side is on the passenger side BUT trust me, its not easier to replace that filter. Renault is definitely designed by evil sociopaths 😅

It's strange that it is so difficult, as I've found every other job on these to be quite easy.
Well, the place of the filter is like... neah, over engineered.. not sure why they did it like this. Thank you for the comment

I have the UK verison and the clutch pedals are all round it! Its never been changed I recon the damn engine light keeps coming on for it
Hi Rory, so for your version, you need to take out your clutch and only after that you can change the air filter as in the video.
Why they did it like this, who knows, but is one of most stupid place for putting a cabin filter.

@@rorydixon2081it is the hardest car to change on a manual transmission - you do have to remove the clutch pedal to access the cabin filter - crazy idea
@TM Autos St Austell Cornwall oh well I will try mine to do 2morrow , there is a YT video how to do on RS UK model so it is exactly same what I have GT TCe 180 , pain in the ass 😉 just wondering what could go wrong with it ?
@@merckojot just be careful dropping the clutch pedal down obviously it’s attached to your clutch pipe running to the clutch you don’t want to damage that pipe for sure .
Of course it's easy you don't have clutch pedal in the way😮💨
Of course, otherwise you add another 30-1,5 hour work time...
you don't need to remove clutch peddle can be done but is a pain

Otherwise you must remove half odds the trip just to get to the filter… 🥲
