That 2.0 wii has the better copy of wii sports for speedrunning because there is no cutsene when you play baseball you can tell because on the title screen it says copyright 2006 not copyright 2006 2007

19:33 that's a PAL (european) wii. assuming you put an NTSC (north american) disc, it can't launch because of region locking
with the amount of wiis with upside down discs inside, that gives me the idea to purposely leave a disc upside down as a joke if i ever plan on selling my wii u
I once got a Wii U that came with a free copy of Lego Batman. Sadly the Wii U doesn't read DS games, so whoever put that into the drive definitely couldn't get it to load. Drive was jammed, but once I removed the cartridge the Wii U worked perfectly fine again.
Leave the most random disc in there for ultimate confusion, such as a cheap PS2 game.
The Wii at 19:11 appears to be a European Wii based on the health & safety screen and the way the date is shown. That's why the american games didn't work. I find it weird how there's an American copy of Mario Kart Wii left in there lol. Also that 2.0 Wii is pretty cool.

6:06 It is possible to boot into priiloader, a mod that is meant to fix or help with bricks. Hold the restart button while turning it on and it should boot into priiloader

That bricked Wii likely has a dead Bluetooth chip, or the chip has been knocked out of place. I've seen it a few times. It's extremely easy to fix, as it can be adjusted or replaced if you just take the faceplate off, it sticks out from the front and can be removed by carefully prying upwards.

The Wii if you take a game out of it without turning it on, it turns itself back off. It’s honestly a cool small feature.

I think all versions of Wii Sports showed the screen with the wrist strap, but a newer version shows the Wii Remote with a jacket on it, whereas the launch versions did not...because the jacket didn't exist yet.

The Wii brick is probably caused by a corrupte PriiLoader install, and the configuration is setup to boot into that first. Removing the SD card makes it never find those configuration files, so the Wii boots normally.

Also, pro tip: If a console you suspect is modded, try holding down reset while powering it on if it has booting issues, it may have Priiloader installed which provides software brick protection and can load the homebrew channel from an inserted SD card so you can test if it at least turns on in any capacity and run any installed software on the system.

I mentioned this on a previous video, but I'd recommend checking the system versions on Wiis because a lot of them seem to not be on the latest version. IDK it'd just be neat to see.

That bricked Wii is likely damaged. The blutooth or WiFi check failed. I would check to see they aren’t unplugged

I think Wii Sports on the old firmware wii actually was the old version of Wii Sports. The strap wasn't on the title screen.
