o Bottom-line - One of the coolest Seiko releases of the year and it’s really cool to see it available under $500
And while not scarce at 6,000pcs, at least you know not to hold off too long on purchasing if interested before they’re all gone

I don't understand how this seiko is not getting more attention and reviews. What a simply beautiful piece!! So well balanced, great details with the red and the shining blue hands, completely solid bracelet, plus a beautiful leather bracelet... Gorgeous!

I keep putting off buying one of these. Might have to pick one of these up. Didn't realize the bracelet was so nice. I think it would look really good on a leather nato.
At first I thought it was a meh watch from the drawings Seiko put out but it is indeed much prettier in real life. Somehow the color combi of the dial and hands just works. The bracelet is amazing.

I have just got this watch yesterday and there are few reasons why I decided to get it over other watches.
- This is a limited edition watch with 6000 pieces. (p.s: Seiko actually have lots of limited edition models that they manufacture in thousands in pieces)
- I was actually thinking if I should get metal strap or leather strap watch. I didn't have to think twice when I saw this watch that comes with both leather strap and metal strap. I actually prefer the look with leather strap.
- Price point for this watch is a bit higher than other Seiko 5 series models. But it's still worth paying a little more because its dial's cream colour is unique and the look with leather strap resembles Hamilton's field watch design.
- And the shop I bought from gave me $120 discount 😁

Seiko makes good looking watches,but they have gotten way too pricey.
Just bought it! Sadly the Watch store removed the 110th Anavesery paiper thats strap on it with a small tread. but other then that i made them get it fitting my hand and so on! and I love it! Im still Very confused if i like or dislike the Dial Color! I really hate it and Love it! its like a Sibling! they can be annoying and you will hate them! and they can well be loved they are your sibling xD but the blue Does stand out and makes it just awsome!
The AD that I have bought several watches from had one of these in stock and I had to have a look. I brought it home under 400 after tax and a nice frequent flyer discount. Solid field watch with a nice build and great looks! It's nice knowing I most likely won't be seeing one on another wrist with the limited release.
I picked this up from Island watch..... LOVE it... it's under $400 for some reason. I really wish seiko would move away from pin and collar!!!

Ordered one from mimo a month ago. Love the watch. Just know that Hardlex does scratch pretty easily. I’ve already scratched mine from normal day wear.

Will that bracelet fit one of the standard Seiko 5 sport models? I have the same black dial model that you showed side-by-side with this limited, and if the new bracelet can be swapped to that model, then I will buy this new watch.

That's a really good looking watch. I've a simaler JDM one. Both colours are very nice but the black one is my favourite.
Sadly I've stopped buying them. The QC issues are not a joke plus they have got too expensive for what they are. I'm wearing a Chinese diver by SanMartin with sapphire, screws in the bracelet, and a high beat movment which cost way less. Yes it's a homage of an 70 years old watch but every single company does them. My king samurai will always have a special place in my heart though.

Nice casual and water sports watch, however; I wish they had a screw down crown to be water tight for swimming and snorkeling and water skiing. Loom is poor though the cost is more than 400 US $. Overall, it is good for every day use, reliable and heavy duty. In my opinion, I would raise the bar to 700 US $ and get an Alpinist for much better quality. Greetings from Egypt.
