- UFC Middleweights Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira have a feud dating back to their times as kickboxers with matchups in 2016 and 2017. Although Pereira won those two contest, Adesanya felt he was the better fighter and never held back his opinion on those bouts. And in 2022 the rivalry would continue in MMA for the Middleweight title at UFC 281. Pereira defeated Adesanya once again, and their feeling towards each other still remain unchanged. I watched a CZcams video on Alex. Apparently and allegedly he used to be an alcoholic and had a troubling past. If his story was true and he got to where he is now, he is actually somewhat of a hero and hope for some people out there.
Khamzat chimaev said he doesn't like how Alex is always serious, but he has no reason not to be. He grew up in harsh conditions where people like him shouldn't be fighting in the UFC. They would be in Human and drug trafficking or highest level prisons.

Thing is AP didn’t dominate him. He legitimately won that match. They both went to war and it could’ve gone to any fighter - conditions depending. It’s not like AP slapped him around for 5 rounds and taunted him in front of the whole crowd post fight. He was Legitimately gracious for that battle, probably meant a lot to him. No it’s a good one but there have been better imho. Cormier Jones was a good one Velasquez/Dos Santos at HW was a good one. More action than you ever expected at HW at that time. McGregor/Poirier is a good one. 1 KO each and a TKO from injury but injury because Dustin’s checking kicks to cause damage. Nick Diaz vs everyone 😂Chael vs Spider Silva was amazing and Chael lost the fight that he was dominating and no one to that point had ever dominated Silva in that way. Liddell vs Couture was respectful but heated with 3 fights. Tito vs Ken was a huge rivalry Weidman Rockhold was good. Mir vs Lesnar Conor vs Aldo or vs Nate and for best action see Condit vs Anybody. This is a short list missing a ton of rivalries but Izzy Pereira is up there.
