- In early 2020, Israel Adesanya did countless interviews before he was set to defend his UFC Middleweight title. But in a particular interview with Sporting News Australia, Adesanya mentioned Alex Pereira and the feelings he had towards his rivalry with him. Pereira would later say that he found this interview randomly online. But after discovering it, he would watch it repeatedly. @@dvilsadvocate1498 funny thing is people watch those kickboxing fights and dont realize that was the START of his famous kickboxing career ….. like he went on to be a 8x champ - 2x division holder at glory etc AFTER those fights - which is why i bet on Alex when finding that out …. and it almost costed me cuz i had 3-1 izzy - BUT if alex did not let his guard down right before the buzzer - BOOM alex wins that round - izzy def won the round by stealing it with those fat shits right at the buzzer - so it could have been 2-0 Poatan going into the 3rd -- and in the third ALEX INITIATED THE TAKE DOWN, and izzy smartly put his right over on the way down and reversed it … but that lost him the round and the 4th could of been him a bit tired by trying to get back to his feet
