Nick is the worst
The pats run is better. In those 5 years the Pats finish with better seed at the end of the regular seasons so more playoff byes and Mahomes has 17 regular season games
@@user-xy6vs1jh9y | I don't think the NFL is rigged. However, I do believe that sometimes the refs are told that if a call is a borderline call that can go either way, give it to the team they prefer. Case in point Superbowl 54 between my Niners & the Chiefs. I watched that game & there were so many bad calls & so many none calls. Here's a few just to show y'all. That early INT by Garoppolo in the 1st quarter that led to a FG for the Chiefs should have been a helmet to helmet call against the Chiefs. If called correctly, you take 3 points off of the Chiefs total & who knows.
A late hit on Garoppolo out of bounds that would have extended a drive that could have resulted in points for my Niners. That OPI they called on Kittle right before halftime could have led to 3-7 points for my Niners. A few weeks earlier that exactl same play to win the Vikings the playoff game over the Saints in OT wasn't called OPI. Then that notorious 3rd & 15 throw to Tyreek Hill that broke open the Superbowl should have been a blatant holding call on the Chiefs against Nick Bosa. If called correctly it would have been 3rd & 25 & as tough as my Niners defense was playing all game probably would have resulted in a punt or turnover on downs.
Not to mention the handful of holding calls that were not rightfully given to my Niners. If this game was called fairly my Niners would have easily won this Superbowl & my Niners defense deserved to win it as hard as they played. I challenge anyone to rewatch Superbowl 54 & tell me I'm wrong. If you disagree then you're obviously biased like the NFL & the refs were. It was a better story if the Chiefs who haven't won a Superbowl in half a century won it. Also I totally believe the league wanted their new Tom Brady. If you remember he left to the Buccaneers & nobody thought he was gonna win another one.
Mike Vrabel and Pete Carroll were a couple of the last coaches I would have guessed got fired 🤯

When people say that Russell Wilson was the only great QB the Seahawks ever had, I think Matt Hasselbeck should get a tip of the cap too. They had some great years with him too.
Hasselback wasn't great. Good, not great.
Zorn in the era was a nice QB. Krige was a good QB. Seattle for the most part has always had a QB. Never a great one but ones you could win with. Matt was never great. He had two of the top team crushing turnovers in Seattle history. One a pick 6 in Overtime in the playoffs and one in the SB. Wilson's horrible throw in the SB it's the topper of course. Wilson was never great. That defense was great. They don't beat SF in the time frame without it to even get to the SB. You could argue it's one of the best of all time in the 4 year span. They were at the top or number two in total defense and lead the lead in points allowed for those 4 years. Wilson just road that defense to the SB. Even if the offense didn't score a point in the SB win they still win the game 16-7. They made one of the best offenses in NFL look like it was a bottom 5 offense. Wilson rode that my friend.
I would argue, if the officiating in the SB against the Steelers hadn't been so one-side, Seattle would've won that game. But at least he got them there, and when Hasselbeck was 40 and playing for the Colts, he led them to the playoffs too. @@larrylindgren9484
Carroll won playoff games and had winning seasons with Geno Smith, Hasselbeck and Charlie Whitehurst. He went to two superbowls and won a superbowl because of the defense he built, not because of Russell Wilson.
@@garysimonson1135 Yes, but Wilson was a step above those other QBs. Wilson might not be in the same category as the greatest QBs of all time, but he brought something the team needed. He was unexpectedly good right away out of college. And that's the best time to win titles when you have a good QB on a rookie deal with great talent everywhere else.
Why is Nick comparing win loss when they have played 5 more games. Dont the Patriots still have a better win loss in the regular season regardless?
He's like a lot of people these days. He makes bad-faith arguments with deceptive stats to push the narratives he wants to push.

Just an FYI in regards to the Patriots 2014-2018 vs. Chiefs 2019-2023 comparison...77-22 is, in fact, NOT a better win percentage than 74-20.
“And it’s not even close”

Nick says look at regular season wins and postseason wins of chiefs vs pats … but fails to acknowledge that there has been 17 games the past few years and also two teams used to earn a bye versus just the 1 seed …
He's also incorrect. Based on the W-L records he showed, NE would actually have a better win%, barely(but since he's splitting hairs🤷♂️), which means the Chiefs don't have, "a better W-L" as he said.
When he goes to 10 SBs and wins 8, he will be the GOAT.

What about if he won 8 out of 12?
How many has he won without the real Goat? 🤔
So Bill Russell is the Goat then right?
I agree that if he wins this year he still wouldn't be the GOAT. But it would be inevitable that he will be when he retires provided he wins another. If he wins and gets MVP of the SB this season its more impressive than any 1 single win by Brady except LI vs ATL

Let's remember some history, going back to the 1960's. The Green Bay Packers won 3 straight NFL championships (65-66-67), that includes the first 2 SB's. That's a helluva 5 year stretch. And they also won it in 1961 and 62. There's been a lot of repeat SB winners but never 3 straight.
They don't Call it Title Town for no reason!
Talk about the Super Bowl era😂 The Packers only have two championships
Everyone is talking about Maholmes receiver like Brady didn’t have terrible receivers throughout his career. Both still had a great tight end and one decent receiver.
Brady’s guys caught the ball even if they were not game breaking speed. So that’s not accurate.
@@michaelsears4571I swear no one actually has any idea what they're talking about. Brady's guys had 53 drops in 2013. Double mahomes this season! And he took them to the AFC title game with the 29th ranked O-line and lost by 1 point.

Where was he upset? Are you okay man?
Nicks arguement of this years chiefs team being the same as last year is just flatly wrong. The single biggest reason? Kelce has absolutely been pedestrian for the 2nd half of the year. Its not a surprise they havent been as good when kelce cant get open anymore. 🤷♂️
Why has he been though? Could it be the entire focus of the defense is to stop him because there is no other receiving threats or has he just lost a step or was it because has played through injury part of the year ?
He’s double and triple teamed. No player with that much attention is going to get big yards.
My guess is he’s not getting targets because Andy is drawing up plays for their less experienced guys to get them better.

crazy to think that Drew Lock gave Pete Carroll the last great game of his career.
So the Seahawks can fire a very successful HC in Pete Carroll, but the Saints are convinced that they can win with Dennis Allen? Yea, that makes sense.
Every time Pete Carrol lost a game, their own fans called loudly to fire him so I guess they got what they wanted.
Only highlight from the Saints is the Sean Peyton & Brees era which strangely this Pete Carrol departure echos that.

Oh no, if the Chiefs lose, he DEFINITELY needs to show up 🍿🍿🍿
Why? Why give him a pass?
I will be absolutely shocked with all their injuries, even if they do play, Waddle and Mostert are gonna feel terrible in -10 degrees. No Chubb so Mahomes should have a lot of time.
Miami has left their perfect weather once in the last 32 days and they lost by 37 points!

Wildes: Warmer.

Love this show
I would love to have eric bieniemy as our new head coach in today's league it's better to focus on offense than defense the nfl won't let you play defense like they used to
If I’m the Ravens, it wouldn’t matter who in the AFC outside the Browns they face. I wouldn’t be intimidated or fearful of the Bills or Chiefs; they’ve dominated pretty much every game this year on both sides
You should be very afraid of the Chiefs and bills lol. They actually have two qbs that perform in the playoffs. While the ravens qb disappears. It’s a different beast come playoff time for that gimmicky offense Baltimore has as well…stuff won’t be so wide open for them and that’s why the qb disappears. The defense will keep things close though because they are Insane…Lamar will get outdueled by mahomes or allen in these playoffs if he sees either one of them
The browns just got blown out by the Texans lol. Outside the Browns??? I think the Bills are the scariest matchup for Ravens.
After watching what happened to KC after he left, my first call is Bienemy, and that might be the end of my list.

People are underestimating the impact Bienemy leaving had on the Chiefs.
@@randymccloud5743 And how many games did Washington Commando's win ?
Bienemy won 5 games as a Commender and Chief in Washington
@@zcam1969 Washington ain't the Chiefs. You're comparing apples & Elephants. Nobody is mistaking Washington's offensive talent with KC's. Why be mad, because I said losing Bienemy hurt KC? I don't think it's a coincidence that their offense went down. As Nick pointed out, in his case for Mahommes, they did it last year without OVERWHELMING superior talent. He's wrong too? You can't have it both ways. Either they can overcome the talent issues, because Mahommes is THAT good...OR other issues are a factor. Bienemy may just be one of these factors. He held players accountable. Some say he was TOO tough. Why be mad at the suggestion losing him could be a factor?
Doubling kelce since the broncos game works, dolphins do have a bunch of injuries on defense side, just put a hat on kelce and it should be a close game. Placheco is a small back so you have to tackle him hard.
Good luck Tyreek. The HIGH in KCMO is supposed to be -1 on Sun. By the time the game rolls around at 7:00, it'll probably be -3 or -4. I can't imagine a WR "going off" when it's that cold.
Chiefs can't touch Tyreek. It's Travish who will get stuffed.

I got faith, LET'S GO CHIEFS!!!
Carroll is the goat man. This is tough
A phenomenal wideout in the NFL nowadays is a receiver who makes yards after the catch.
Love the show boys !!! Besides rich eisen you guys are the only sports media i follow anymore . Keep up the great work fellas !!!
Don’t see any regret for Hill. This show announced Hill should be a Top 5 WR ALL-TIME. If he was surrounded by Patty and Kelce I don’t see him getting that respect.
Maybe. I actually think it would’ve been a perfect transition from a 1a Kelce 1b Hill to the inverse. Hill would’ve clearly been the #1 option for this year and moving forward and put up incredible numbers. But you are right in that he’s demonstrated he can do it in any system.
For the record the Packers only won 2 Super Bowls in the 60’s, the first 3 were championships pre-Super Bowl but still a dynasty.
Because of nick this feels like a “prove it” year for mahomes
🫶🏾 this show!! Please keep these Men 2gether!!💪🏾💯👊🏾
I think what nick overlooks with the whole GOAT conversation is how impressive and unprecedented that late career run was by Brady. His career trajectory argument assumes Mahomes will be playing at this level in his late thirties. Not saying he can’t but it’s definitely not guaranteed.
Exactly. I hate how in sports the last thing u see is the only thing I saw. Brady has 7!! That’s more than any FRANCHISE. Annnddddddd he beat mahomes to get 7 so wtf. Mahomes would only have 3. Nd miss me with the “winning with bad recievers argument” Brady invited that!!
Chris Cheetah take was really good 👍🏾
Oh this is fun. While we're talking about mediocre coaches - now do Belichick without Brady. 84-103? What was that about 33-36?
Brou: "...Only great quarterback they've had there is Russell Wilson..."
Warren Moon on Line One.
Showing that 1 team had the best five year run ever 2x! Is just insane...
It’s interesting that Brou and Nick said a chiefs Superbowl win people “would” start talking about Mahomes being the goat. People, including on this show, have been calling him the goat for 3 years already 😂
Mahomes is best most have ever seen. To be the GOAT you need rings to back it up.
He should've ran it with beast mode
What about E Bienemy in Seattle?
Nick is the goat 🐐
"I moved my unit down to 50 cents" i coughed up my dinner
Wildes comments are the best
Had Pete Carroll given the ball to beast mode, he would still be head coach
Seahawks did NOT have a good season Brou. Massively disappointing in all facets of the game. Blew at least 6 games they should have won. Historically bad defense under Pete, Stale offensive game plans.
Agreed exactly
Great show
Best sports show right now💯🤷🏾♂️
The five year comp. should’ve went back a year to match the 5 con. apps. I didn’t get that part
Are they just ignoring how Pete resurrected Geno Smiths career?
I agree with Nick that they should have a clean break from the LOB era, but they are making that extremely difficult by keeping Carroll in the building. If they hire Ben Johnson or another outsider, there’s a good chance that there ends up being an internal power struggle.
These late uploads have been ruining my afternoon routine at work 😢
Travis Kelce is on the decline. He can’t get open like he used to so Mahomes doesn’t have that 3rd down security blanket like he used to. Last year Kelce was that dude still, this year, not so much.
The Swift effect is wonderful! 😈
Nick did his homework on that 5 year run take.
If you asked any team in the afc the chiefs would be the unanimous choice on who they’d least likely wanna play
Kelce and Hill got Mahomes those numbers…..no Hill, struggling Kelce and zero other options means a possible 1st round exit. If Cleveland was playing them this weekend, Browns win without a doubt
Except they won the Superbowl without Hill last year. The only difference is Rice replaced JuJu. I think if they focus on running the ball more they have a shot. That defense is legit.
No hill, struggling Kelce, yet Mahomes is 6th in the NFL in passing, after taking the last game off.
I’m assuming you think Juju and MVS got him his numbers last year?
I could’ve made a pro bowl in that Reid-Kelce-Hill offense! Super creative running game, wide open Hill, and throw it anywhere near Kelce on 3rd down!
The chiefs haven't really gotten blown out. They havent really played that badly.... theyre the 3 seed. They could be 15-2 or 16-1 if it weren't for all the drops. They got a ticket to the dance. All they need is to clean up the drops for 4 games
So... it's ok to say that Pete Carroll was a mediocre coach (0.478) without Russell Wilson, but it's sacrilegious to say that Belichik was a mediocre coach (0.443) without Tom Brady?
I do think it's funny when Nick talks about Jordan and says things like "We said" when discussing Jordan first retiring after his father was killed in 93. Nick was like 10 years old at that time. I don't think he was having best of all time discussions. 🙂
Can’t be the goat when you’re 0-2 against him in the postseason sorry lil bros
The last time a team repeated as SB Champs, was also the last time a team repeated as NFC East Champs ‘03-‘04
The chiefs is Legit, we consistently ignore this , they also have arguably a top 10 rb
Brady's Tampa ring is gonna be hard to overcome in any GOAT debate
Honestly Mike Macdonald would be the perfect fit
Edelman has three superbowls! Clearly a hall of famer in my eyes and many others! Check playoffs stats that what matters right? As slot receiver he should no doubt be in hall of fame for that position he played it at the absolute highest level !
If slot receiver was a defined position, definitely. Did he change the game? Welker did that. It’s a no for me dog. If TO wasn’t a first ballot, Edleman shouldn’t be anywhere near the status of Jim Brown, Berry Sanders, Jerry Rice…
Gotta keep the Hall small imo.
Big Edleman fan tho 💯
I gotta agree with Nick Wrong on this one. 🤣
I don't think any Seahawks fan wants Jim Harbaugh.
Whenever the segment goes into the chiefs or mahomes and nicks is about to go, I just skip it 😆
I love nick!
Pete Carroll is an outstanding coach with or without Russell Wilson. The numbers Bru gave are wrong. He was 27-21 in New England and had two winning seasons and a playoff appearance with Geno Smith. He built the Legion of Boom defense which is how the Seahawks got to 2 superbowls in a row and won one.
He was also the HC for the Jets. His real record without Wilson is 66-67. He’s 170-120-1 total. Wilson is 104-53-1 in Seattle.
Nick said, "With the #18 defense."
Carrol to the Chargers would be nice but they some D/As in that front office 😂
Nick is obviously, first and foremost, a Chiefs fan. Kevin is obviously, first and foremost, a Patriots fan. Do we know who Chris' team is?

Hard to answer since Brou has like 5-6 favorite teams.
Seattle did this to make a run at harbaugh. The convinving decision will be the fact that he gets to come back to the NFL and show up pete. Seattle also has the best roster out of any team in need of a coach right now.

They are going to be very close though😂 their worst season is a playoff loss in the afc championship game that’s pretty impressive
Why not appreciate both? Same thing happened with LeBron. Just appreciate greatness and stop diminishing one because it wasn’t the exact same. Mahomes has more than a decade left to play.
We talking about this year nick not last year or years before that 😂😂
Warren Moon!
If Mahomes gets to another SB and scores 12 points but wins because of the defense and coaching, then we can start comparing him to Brady.
When Mahomes shows that he can be the most clutch performer in the history of sports and wins 7 Superbowls, we can put him in the same sentence as the GOAT
You could say the same thing about bill. With/without Brady
I just think people have tried to completely disregard what KC did last year...... was KC on fire going into the playoffs last year? No, they lost to Cinci in week 17..... did they beat all the good teams they played? No, they lost to Cinci and got blown out by Buffalo..... in 2019, they lost 4 of 6 going into the playoffs
To act like KC doesn't have a switch that turns on in the playoffs is idiotic. Such a clown take.

Outside of 2001, what Superbowl did Brady game manage too? Please tell me, Brou??
Saying Pete isn’t a good coach is wild. The team doesn’t have a strong roster. Not sure why these shows think any coach can work a miracle on demand.
