!!! I never would have guessed that such a beauty was hiding under all that mess! You have such a great eye for gems like this one. More, More, More!
Thanks so much for watching!
It’s Classy AF 😂
Yes, more!
Great work,
love your work.
Whenever anyone mentions meditating, all I can think is "...I'd rather watch Angie." It calms me down and makes me very happy.
Angie, thank you for all the rescues (furniture and bunnies) that you've ever done. I'm deeply grateful. ❤
Wow! You are so incredibly welcome. I'm honoured to be able to help you wind down. 😊
Ironically I was thinking the same thing whilst watching that particular restoration.
seeing the wood grain as the paint is stripped off, the sanding her movement is so calming, the minute Angie says Odie I clap, then of course the reveal. Absolutely loved this piece.
I love this comment! She really is a relaxing time:)
@@blacksorrento4719 Yes!!
@@natalieelisabeth5767 ❤!
You should name this piece "Lazarus," because it was literally brought back from the dead! The reveal was a total joy. Superb work!
Haha I love it!!
Thank you for treating a mass-produced piece with so much respect. The storm cloud pics were beautiful.
You're very welcome!
Wow...the top is stunning!! The entire piece is beautiful!! I just love how you resurrect furniture that looks terrible and bring them back to life! I hope someone loves this little chest of drawers for a long time!!❤🙌🌈
Thank you very much!!! 😀
Gorgeous...and so close to being tossed! Dr. Angie to the rescue to breathe new life into these abandoned pieces. And breathtaking pictures of our beautiful Nova Scotia shoreline.
Thanks so much Nancy!! 😊
Sorry landfill - it wasn’t time for this beauty to go, thanks to Angie! Gorgeous.
I'm so glad you like it!
You are one of the youtubers I watch where I can just hit the "like" button before even watching the video. My fave transformations are the ones where you take these battered, hopeless looking cases and make them beautiful again--actually, better than when they were new. The wood veneer looks incredible, and this project was obviously meant to be because you already had the replacement pulls for the drawer handles! Kudos to the guy at the bin center for alerting you to this find! He knew it was best in your hands.
Thank you so much for this! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😀
I love the way the brass hardware looks with the light handles on the lower drawers! Another amazing rescue!
I agree!!!😍😀🤗
Thank you kindly! 😀
Another beautiful and amazing transformation Angie - I do hope the person who saved it for you gets to see this.... And 261K subscribers - well deserved!
Oh I'm sure he will! Thanks so much! 😊
You Amaze me every time you do a project. I enjoy your videos and say Hello to the cats and Andrea.
I will! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Ang…I’m running outta adjectives lol. You are amazing. Love your content and everything how you go about it. Some talk, some have music and some you just hear the tools and see the results. We got a bonus this week bc we got 2 videos from you. Love having you come into my house as I watch you share your craftsmanship. What a treat. This was an unbelievable save. Well done young lady. It’s a bute ❤️🇺🇸👍🏼
Thank you Jodi!! You always leave such great comments, very much appreciated! ❤️
Why am I ALWAYS in shock at the reveal, when I know that it's going to be great? I never anticipate how great! The natural walnut, brass pulls and contrast handles make it to DIE FOR.
I'm so glad you like it Gina!
I'm sitting here shaking my head at what I'm seeing. Those drawers are substantial, and with the new life you breathed into this, bringing it back from the brink, it will serve someone for decades more to come! SUCCESS!!
Thank you so much! 😊
It’s always so cool to see how you pull a piece back from the brink!! Great job, as ever!! (I saw the bunny you drew- made me laugh out loud!!)😍❤️🐇
Haha, I'm glad you caught that!
Wow! What a gorgeous makeover. You brought out the quiet beauty of the walnut veneer (and that magnificent bookmatched top). It has such a warm, inviting glow now, especially with the accents and brass hardware. Thank you so much for saving another potential gem from the landfill! Angie, you're a genius :)
Awe, you're so welcome! Thanks for the great comment! 😊
You never disappoint. Always creating something spectacular! I even love when you take things like laminate furniture that needs to be completely painted because I hate seeing things go to a landfill. If anybody states otherwise they’re just haters and do not listen to them.
I appreciate this comment, thank you so much! ☺️
Angie, Angie, Angie, there are no words. You turned actual junk into a beautiful piece, not shocked of course because you always do.
Thank you so much! 😊
The Furniture Fairy Godmother strikes again. 🙂 Gorgeous work as always!
I appreciate that!! 😃
The Furniture Doctor is in!!
You have a great gift for turning trash into treasure & you always make them look better than when they were new!!
Love it! 👍❤️
Oh thank you! 😊
For a mass produced piece, you have let it shine and stand out from the crowd. Great result and a new life for this piece. 💗💖
Thank you very much! 😊
The transformation is absolutely mind-blowing. You are clearly a magician.
I appreciate that, thank you!
Great call on leaving the drawer handles "au naturale" so to speak. Their color is reflected in the brass of the drawer pulls. Speaking of those drawer pulls, wow! Those cleaned up so nicely!!!! And thank goodness you had the missing pieces!!! This drawer is quite the stunner and now will have another 50+ years of service. Amazing transformation; simple but wowerz! Another great video! By the way, loved the storm cloud footage. Love the coast line like that! Very dramatic but oh so beautiful, too! Cheers!
It was definitely kismet for me to have those toggles already!! 😊
Wow! That turned out amazing and looks brand new!!! I’m not surprised because it was rescued by you and you always put so much love and attention into every piece ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! 😊
WOW!! Angie once again you not only kept a furniture piece out of the dump but you revived it 🎉🎉🎉you Rock!!!
Thank you so much! 😊
That wood grain is beautiful. I just love to see your creativity dedication. Awesome job Angie!!
Thank you so much! 😊
I am always "gobsmacked", as the Brits would say, when I look at the work you do to transform these tired, neglected pieces of furniture. Your patience, know-how, creativity is off the scale..!! Well done Lady
!! 👏👏❤❤
Thank you so much Joanna!! 😊
Eh, there’s watching “furniture flippers” and then you…❤. I love your work, Angie!!
Another amazing transformation!❤
Thank you so much! 😊
Gorgeous! That wood grain was fabulous, and as always, your hard work and vision brought this piece back to life like a work of art. Love the choice of the brass pulls and contrasting wood handles. 👍👏👏😃
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Angie you are among my favourite restorers on CZcams. So beautiful and detailed. You videos are joy to watch. I love your vocabulary and delivery of speech ❤
Wow, thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying all my content. 😊
My jaw literally dropped at the reveal. It's stunning! Wish it was mine.❤
Thank you!
I love the transformation.
Thank you! 😊
Another beautifully done piece! I'm not a big fan of the 2-tone look on this piece but it's great that you were able to replace the handles with the original style.Always enjoy your videos.
What a grand little dresser, so glad you ‘saved’ it. The veneer pattern was striking, positively undulating. Thanks Angie for showing us how to redeem someone’s trash into a useful and beautiful piece of furniture.
You're incredibly welcome!
Great save Lamont! It’s beautiful as always, Angie!
Thank you so much! 😊
Can’t wait to see what you do!!
Enjoy!! 😊
Wow! Thought this one was going to be too far gone…but you pulled it off Ange! Good for you! Another beauty saved from the landfill. Gorgeous!!!
Thank you so much! 😊
I can't get over how old worn wood, can be buffed and polished up with a new finish and it always looks good. That's nature's beautiful gift!
Angie, I loved that you had switched up the bottom draw and placed it on the top, it looks stunning as always!
Just putting it where it belongs Mary. 😊
We saw the bunny you made on the dresser w/Odie's. 🐇 He was only there for a sec, but we saw him.
❤
The finished dresser looks BEAUTIFUL! Well- done! Thanks also for the amazing storm cloud pics.
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed! 😊
And again. You have brought me to tears with your talent at saving a beautiful piece from the landfill. Love from your Philly fan.🤗💕💯🥰😍👍🧟😘
Wow, thank you!
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery You are welcome.🤗 Looking forward to your next project.🥰😁😘👍💕
Oh WOW you were not exaggerating on the beauty of that grain on the top 🥰
Your friend has almost as good an eye for furniture as you do 😊
Oh wow!
Another exquisite rescue.
Kudos to Lamont for tipping you off.
Thank you so much! 😊
YES! You did it again Angie
You saved another piece of furniture from being discarded thanks to the heads up from someone you know at the bins👍 A new life awaits the dresser. Hopefully next owner will appreciate its fresh VERY NICE LOOK😊
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
As always amazing! Every time I see you rescue one of the little sad pieces it makes my heart happy. This beauty lives to see another day.
Thank you so much! 😊
For the first time, I didn't have time to engage with the entire video so I just flipped right into the reveal from the "got this in the trash" scene. YIKES and WOW, just WOW!!!! I can't wait to come back and see how you worked such amazing magic on this piece Angie! As always, beautiful!
Thanks so much!! 😊
Angie, that chest of drawers is beautiful!!! I LOVE how you let the woodgrains shine through. Letting the drawer handles remain lighter, almost makes them match the drawer handles!
I learned the hard way about 'rescuing' furniture that's been thrown out due to bedbug infestation! Someone that was staying with me for a while rescued a beautiful basinet (because she was pregnant and not working so was low on money) and unfortunately, it had been thrown out due to bedbugs. I didn't get a chance to inspect it before she brought it in my house, and within weeks our apartment was infested with them! It took us 8 YEARS, the loss of MOST of my furniture (twice), and ultimately a move to a new place with no carpets to FINALLY get rid of them!!! We had to replace mattresses multiple times, even with those protective covers on them, because the covers kept ripping and bedbugs got into the mattresses! It's one of the reasons I don't usually buy 2nd hand furniture anymore (unless I KNOW that where it is coming from is bedbug free). My whole family has been traumatized by bedbugs and is NOT something we EVER want to deal with again!!!!!
First off - thank you so much but secondly - that sounds horrifying!! I'm so sorry that happened to you.
You never cease to amaze me, Angie. You turn such sad pieces of furniture into a beauty! This piece is no exception.
Many thanks! 😊
It never ceases to amaze me what you can do with a disgarded, abandoned piece of furniture. You give new life to what otherwise would be trash in a landfill. My hat is off to you patron saint of furniture resurrection. ❤😀😺
Awe, thank you so much! 😊
Odie's Oil as a finish and a sealant cannot be beaten. It is so much better than what that chest manufacturer used back in the previous mid century. I also want to comment that veneer manufacturers of the past, and, the present are artists. They produce such beautiful designs. All in all this was a very satisfying transformation to watch. Well done, Angie.
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you like it!
I love that wood tone, and the contrast of the handles. The revealed grain is AWESOME! I’m so glad you had replacements for the brass.
It was kismet!
Wow! You weren't kidding about the gorgeous grain on the top. I love the contrast of the light handles against the drawer fronts. With the drawers totally refinished on the inside, this piece is now better than New because of the care you took in all the hand applications. Congrats, again, on a fabulous transformation.
Thank you kindly! 😁
Thank you for the cautionary tips with regard to observing evidence of infestations.
You really have given this piece a second life.
You're welcome! ☺️
Natural walnut finish - yaaaaay!
It makes me so happy to see you saving pieces like this that other people throw away. What a beauty!
I'm so glad you enjoy them! 😀
Never in a million years would I guess that the before and after are the same dresser. You did a fantastic job giving this a new life.
Thank you very much! 😊
Angie, you are an inspiration. Good Lord, save us all from life's trash bins, the way that Angie saves these discarded pieces....hahaha. I really liked how you coaxed the wood fibers back to normal with water and a soldering iron....who knew? Bravo Angie.
Thank you kindly! 😊
I am so glad you saw the potential in this piece, it looked pretty rough and you made it shine again. Job well done Angie💗
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Wooowwwwww I actually shouted wow in my living room. I am in awe. Standing ovation from me.
Thank you!! 😊
So so beautiful! Who knew such glory was in the broken hardware. Angie did👏👏👏
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
You do have an eye for bringing out the best in any piece you tackle. It's a joy to watch.
Thank you very much! 😊
Holy cow, what an amazing transformation! Who would've ever guessed what was underneath all that grunge and dirt. This piece is absolutely stunning now! Love that the drawer pulls are lighter than the drawers and cabinet! The scenery and the storm clouds are spectacular! What a gorgeous view! As always Angie you knocked this out of the park! Fantastic job and outcome! 👏😊❤
Thank you kindly Pam! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😀
Another great redo. You are so thorough in every assessment of a piece. I appreciate that and the steady patience you always have with your projects.
I'm so glad you enjoy them!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I think one of my favorites. I love seeing the grain of the wood when the stain is dark, and this is exactly what I love. Have really enjoyed watching all of your videos.
Thank you so much! 😊
I almost always think of the story of the ugly duckling and the swan because that’s what happens with each piece you rescue. Beautiful grain, elegant yet simple lines in the wood handles and the brass pulls are the finishing touch! Perfect! 👌 And loved the two special surprises…bunny in Odie’s Oil and amazing storm clouds over the water. 👏👏💕💕
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Your vision for this piece was spot on. Well done Angie. Love the contrast of the drawer pulls and the shiny resuscitated brass knobs against the beautiful dark wood.
I'm so glad you like how it turned out! 😀
When you said bed bugs my eyes got big and my first thought was “Don’t buy it, burn it!”😂I’m glad a cooler head prevailed.🤣Great piece.
Thank you very much! 😊
I just watched a video yesterday that said a sure and easy way to kill bed bugs is to use steam and diatomaceous earth.
You did it once again; this is a miracle transformation! Great piece and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Wow, thank you!
Unbelievable how beautiful that turned out! Crazy how you had those hardware pieces. Another spectacular save by Angie! 👍
I'm very glad you like it!
My toxic trait is thinking I could pull a piece from a dumpster and do this. 😂 Great job!
Thanks so much for watching! 😀
Oh my! Those brass pulls and blond parts look perfect together. What a rescue.
I'm so glad you like it! 😀
Another homerun Angie!! The dresser is so beautiful.❤ I love how you restore the wood...you try your best to keep the integrity of the piece and make it what it was...sometimes way better than the original.
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Love how the natural look of the wooden handles matches the brass so well. Gorgeous.
Thank you very much!
Your attention to detail is so refreshing. You are an artist in every way. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
You're most welcome! 🤗
Hello Angie. You always do such an amazing job on your pieces. It looks brand new.🤗🤗🤗
I'm so glad you like it!
Every time I watch you refinish something I learn at least 2 new things. Thank you!😊
You're welcome! ☺️
You have to be freaking kidding me! This is Art my friend. Love how in-depth you go in explaining each step of the way. Really helping me on my young refurbishing journey. Keep em coming!
I'm so glad I can help!! 😀
The dark wood is stunning now. What a loving refinish.
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
What a pretty piece! The wood grain is gorgeous on this one! I love the natural wood handles and how they play so nicely with the polished brass pulls. One of my favorite things you do is to honor and respect the original design and aesthetic but then use your artist’s eye to create something that feels current. I love watching your artistry.🌸
Thank you so much Deborah!! I really appreciate your always taking the time to leave support. ❤️
Simply stunning. I keep coming back because I pick up technique tidbits with every single project. Things you have figured out that I have yet to encounter, like the issue with removing candle wax. You are so casual about your expertise, a true master of your craft. I worked with a guy once and he said about another employee, "I taught him everything he knows, but it isn't everything I know". I'll keep coming back to get closer to knowing what you know. Great stuff. Thanks again.
You're very welcome! 😊
I can’t believe how brilliantly this piece turned out. You are simply amazing!
Thank you so much! 😊
After watching this restoration the only word that comes to mind is WOW. Once again you out due yourself with the quality of work you put into things. Again, WOW!!!
Thank you so much! 😊
Once again, you prove, work and repair is worth it.
I am always so amazed at how beautiful your pieces are when are done with them! Literal trash to treasure!! You are so talented.
Thank you very much! 😊
As a lover of fine wooden furniture you make my heart sing whenever you resurrect a piece of abused furniture and make it shine,
I'm so glad you like it! 😀
I never get tired of watching you work your magic on these pieces! This looks amazing.
I recently refinished a dining table that I got for cheap off of Facebook marketplace. The whole time I was working on it I was thinking about the information I’ve learned from watching your channel. It had a gnarly stain/gouge in the veneer that I never would have been confident enough to tackle if not for your channel. It wasn’t nearly as impressive as anything you do, but I managed to turn an ugly looking table top into something I’m proud of. Thank you for sharing your talent and skill with the world!
You're so welcome!! Kudos to you for all your hard work!!
😮 another spectacular piece. Thanks for sharing and rescuing this beautiful piece. 👍⭐️
You're very welcome! ☺️
You've rescued and revived yet another sad, neglected "wood critter" Angie!
The life you gave this one shines!😍👍😀💪👍
I agree with another commenter who loves the look of the shiney brass pulls and light wood handles together; it's Very spiffy!
Thank you so much! 😊
Angie, this is simply gorgeous. I love that you let the beauty of the grain be the star of the show. The piece is immaculate and someone will be thrilled to use this pretty dresser in their home. Really, really nice.
Thank you so much! 😊
Wowzer!!!! This one was truly worthy of your business name! I mean you always transform something "meh" into so.e thing beautiful, but this was so on Its last leg, I believe it truly transcended into something astoundingly gorgeous! Great work Angie!!! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful! The drawer pulls and the contrasting handles just make the piece pop! Great save!!
Thanks so much!
What an incredible transformation! Your talent for restoration is just beyond, Angie. ❤
Thank you so much! 😊
I always notice and appreciate Angie's clean-as-she-works discipline 😊.
I'm so glad to hear that!
I just shake my head in awe whenever I see the reveal of one of your pieces. Beautiful, beautiful work!!! 😍
Thank you so much!! 😊
What a fabulous rescue mission; you have utterly transformed this piece and let its beauty shine through again. Fantastic job Angie!
Thank you so much! 😊
STUNNING! I love the contrast with the light handles and bright drawer pulls, and those two elements complement each other so well, too.
Many thanks!
Wowie Zowie! What a gorgeous transformation. The ripple in the walnut on top is ‘chef’s kiss’. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
Who could have guessed how beautiful this would turn out?! Me! I knew that Angie the furniture Magician was out to rescue it! I love how the wood top turned out, especially. The grain you revealed was so pretty. Plus, oh my gosh, those drawer pulls 😮 My first thought was trash them, but they turned out absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much! 😊
It's hard to believe this was the same piece from start to finish. You did an amazing job resurrecting a really pretty piece of furniture.
I'm so glad you like how it turned out! 😊
