- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

No Bro, I believe, U can't say it for this song in particular. We can see the Original Video of this song umpteen times to enjoy the music as well as the visual magic created by Cameraman Marcus Bartley. It's such a nice picturisation.
Usually, I have very low opinion on recreations but this rendition is so so drawing your emotion to the surface. What a great great keyboardist, just pure magic. About Venkat - what else he cannot do? Both the singers keep us fixed into a time lane that we wish never ends. And what a knowledge potpourri from the presenter. I had never imagined that something like this could have been done. SUPERB.

Excellent. Mam your presentation is out of the world. A song from the film which came in 1957...is so very fresh and mesmerising. Such was the contribution of the mahaans and legends of yesteryears. A big namaskaram to each one of them. And today's team was equally mesmerising. Nandini very fresh and has sung with full dedication at the same time with ease. Ashwath narayan has given his best with full sincerity. Hero of QFR venkatji has performed so wonderfully as usual with elan and perfection and Mr. Vigneshwar just immersed into the song and performed with such enjoyment... Undoubtedly, the best episode so far. what singing. NJ Nandini is a well-known Carnatic singer but she shows her talent in light music here.
As per the title Mayabazaar leads us into a fantasy world and today this cover also had that magic. Kudos to both Nandhini & Ashwath fabulous singing, well supported by Venkat & Vigneshwar brilliant work and your smiling enthusiasm added to the visuals and when we talk of visuals those of Nandhini were brilliantly and aptly done, Subhasree mam some times all things fall in place on its own and we call it "amaivadhu" and today Nandraga Amaindhathu....
Yes there is hard work from the team but at times everything gets perfect placement and the end result is magical....Kudos team QFR..

true, P Leelama did not get the sangatis that Ghantasala master taught her and her telugu diction was not up to the mark, so she had to sing it for 35 takes, even Ghantasala master's wife Savitrima, still says master used to have a otugh day explaining the nuances of Telugu to Lellama, with Susheelama becoming number one he was relieved as susheelama was also a telugu,like ghantsala master so teaching a sonngbecame easy for him.
