Just passed my test after staying up and watching all 3 parts. Definitely highlighted things I needed last second and allowed me to round out those areas and help me pass!
I just passed my test today. Thanks for all your videos. I pretty much went through many of your practice test videos all through the night.
Congrats Phemy! Thanks for your support
Congrats -what other resoues did you use ?
Hey dude I just passed my Security+ Exam this week and I must say finding your channel was extremely helpful. Thanks so much for making these videos!
Awesome man! Congratulations and thanks for watching 🙂
I'm currently studying for the sec + exam and I'm glad to have come across this playlist! Looking forward to diving in asap! Thank you.
Awesome video thank you so much for your efforts and I’ll Bev rewatching this video again.
Just wanted to say thanks for your videos! I used them while preparing for my Security+ test and I passed on my first try today!
congrats. What other resouces did you use
@@ptahrightknowledge3813 professor Messer, cyberkraft and some others I also took a security+ class last sept-nov using ucertify
Merry Christmas Buddy, thanks for the vid. Studying hard throughout the holidays.
Merry Christmas! Best of luck to you!
Thank you for doing this. I am studying for the security plus, and I am doing the Jason Dion and Professor messer learnings and exams, and I love you breaking thing downs as well. Just subscribed
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Good luck on your exams!
Going through your videos now and I really am enjoying it. Way better than the popular teachers , I cannot get it. Thank you for the content, I hope this will help me pass.
Thank you :)
Yo, Vincent, man. I've been watching your videos for awhile now, because I was preparing for my Network+ around the same time that U were. I really enjoy your "come along on the journey" feel to your videos. After discovering that you are doing the same thing with Security+ that U did with Network+, I just subscribed to your channel. That sealed the deal for me, because just recently I started down the Security+ rabbit hole! lol. Keep up the great vibes, dude! Great content!
Hey Molito! Thanks for subscribing and I'm glad to hear that the videos have been helpful to you! :) Thank you thank you and good luck for all your endeavours :D
This was the best practice question video I’ve seen yet, as far as being willing to show he gets them wrong too. Please keep these coming…
Thanks for the compliment man! I would love to make more of this type of content as that seems to be what people need the most, but I only have time to make videos about things that I'm actively learning. We may have to wait until I feel the need to get another certification 😅
Take mine on monday for the 2nd attempt. These videos are super helpful!
A way I remember about keys - Symmetric - Same (both start with S)
I just passed my SY0-601 exam yesterday. Thank you for the videos.
Woohoo!
I take the exam in 12 days ! wish me luck
Ddi you pass?
This is great!
Passed the exam 20 mintues ago with a 772. Appreciate the vids!
Woo nice job bro
@@vincenthumble thank you!
Cool! I'll be taking it in a few days myself. You find a job in cybersecurity yet?
Thanks for the Videos, much appreciated. Do you have any PDF format practice questions?
Number is 18 is APT, it is consider a state hacker getting into a network without being detected. Great videos.
Thanks Erik!
Right, cuz the calculation is that a nation-state actor has the skills and resources and sophistication to be able to be persistent but undetected. I'm about to take the exam and am nervous, but damn, if it is anywhere near as easy as the quiz here, this'll be cake. I do worry about the PBQs taking time, though.
I would say the actual test falls somewhere between the difficulty of this test and the difficulty of the cert master questions that I do in some other videos.
amazing ❤
Thanks 😄
Also passed my A+ exams this week as well.
Well done!
Dope video.
Appreciate it
I'm a bit hard of hearing so this is difficult when your head covers part of the question or the solution description if I need further info to understand or remember. Otherwise I really like this
Hey Adileah, sorry about that! I'll try to not cover the words in the future. Thanks for watching!! :)
Hi Vincent. I have seen your N+ and S+ Videos. Its are really impressive..I am preparing for exams for N+ and S+. Can you please pass those questions for practice?
Hmm. You're not the first to ask. I'm not sure if I have a good way to do this, and most of these resources are paid anyways.
is udemey practice test for security plus is good to pass the exam?
It's good to help you study, but the real exam is more difficult
what score/percentage on the practice would be a passing score in comparison to the exam?
85% is a good goal
I am also preparing for sy601.
Alright, keep up the good work brother!
Good video, next time u can reduce your pic, cant read the content behind it
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching 🙂
would be nice to not have the questions and answers hidden behind your big head :D
maybe F11 on the screen could help.
Another suggestion if I may, make a little pause between the answer and the start of next question to allow time to sink in.
By the way that question 18 Persistent vs Passive Recon I'm totally agree with you WTF!
[edit] nevermind I take it back, it's the wording of the question...state actor+persistent ("attacker uses stealthy and sophisticated techniques to evade detection"
😂 apologies. Many have made similar comments. I guess my ego is almost as big as my head. I'll take this into consideration for future editing. I appreciate your feedback. Still trying to find the right pace for these types of videos.
(PTA): Parent Teacher Assoiciation
LOL
I dont follow you but this was good practice for the material.
On question 38 there's a typo it should be role-based access control not rule
No you are incorrect. Role-based access control is usually meant for user IAM (Identity and Access Management) within a company, and not for filtering network packets in a firewall.
Link to this practice test?
I got this one for free by buying my exam voucher from getcertified4less
I feel like I don't know enough to take the exam yet, but seeing as how I never get one of these questions wrong (and he does constantly), maybe I should feel a bit more confident. (that said, I don't know if he ever passed). My background is in networking and security. The way CompTIA approaches security is different in some ways than Cisco does, so beware, all you who know Cisco 200-301 first.
If you're getting more questions right than me, you can definitely pass 😂 because I did in fact pass. Best of luck to you Scott! Thanks for watching!
hey scott how was your exam? were the questions straightforward like this, or more vague and ambiguous scenario based?
18:32 that is not what an ARP poisoning attack is. ARP is unsecured and broadcast based. Unsolicited (Gratuitous ARP) messages can be sent and cached for things like the default gateway. Please take this opportunity to make an update video
Are the questions on the sec+ this easy?
Not quite
For 18 I think there mindset is based on the APT mindset that Nation State Actors attacks are normally APT's
Try to make your bottom right screen a little bit smaller so we can read the questions.
Yes, sorry about that. Will do :)
What is the best website to study for sec+ exam?
My CZcams channel 😂😂 but actually it depends on your style. Professor Messer CZcams videos, certmaster by CompTIA, Jason Dion practice tests on Udemy. Some are free, some cost a little, but just find one that works for you. I suggest checking reddit for a more comprehensive list.
Thanks
Can you upload somewhere those questions?
You can buy them at CompTIA.org
@@vincenthumble 🍌
I wish the actual exam would be as easy as this practice test lol
Yes, I think we all do
Hey Love your Videos and that dope bald head but can you make your cam smaller to see the full questions
I passed my Sec+ brotha hopefully you do the same
Congrats! Thank you, I am confident to do so 🙂
APTs goal is to go unnoticed for as long as possible.
18 is a very poorly worded choice. It should be "APT" Advanced persistent threat. Its confusing the way they just put "persistence"
The concept of your web is good, but I m finding the image of your face is distracting and it blocks the wording of the questions and the answers. What you say and the questions and answers are important. I'm sure your mother is happy to see your face. I do appreciate what information I receive, I did give a thumbs up.
This is way too easy 😂 I just took the certmaster exam and it was way harder . I couldn't pass the pbqs
The sertmaster is much harder than the actual exam, don't let it scare you away from taking the test. They're really good for practice though because they will push you pretty hard
time segment 15:28 your explanation of buffer overflows needs a LOT of help. You said that you don't know and then offered an answer that is pretty off base. This creates an opportunity to add a "click here" dialog for an update video.
Top top, please could u possible send me your flashcards, kkkkkkk
Please make your display smaller so we can see the questions. Your face takes up 1/4 of the screen.
It would have been great if you weren't answering the questions as you were reading them. Kinda kills the whole point of this.
Wish you’d go slower and provoke user thought while they’re working/driving
I appreciate the feedback. I'm torn between doing that and keeping people's fickle attention, but I'll factor your input for the future.
@@vincenthumble ahh, okay. Just thought it’d be more of “work as a group” type of ideology. But your viewers prefer your fast paced level of teaching. Either way, I love your videos.
bro get the hairy egg off my screen im trying to read the answer explanation
😂
@@vincenthumble just passed the exam 👍🏽👍🏽 thanks bro
