MEET GRACE TECCA
We met Grace first at the Dojo when they were in 5th grade,. As they learned more and more about the band program it didn't take too long for Grace to join as a singer. AND OH MY! The band Socially Awkward was born. A band that quickly made a name for itself with its vibrant performances and eclectic mix of challenging and fun tunes. Grace's beautiful voice became a defining feature of the band, captivating audiences and earning invitations to perform at various venues. The band stayed together for 6 years - It was an era marked by creativity, collaboration, and a shared love for music where meaningful friendships were born.
High school brought a new dimension to Grace's musical expression. They began writing their own songs, using music as an outlet for their thoughts and emotions. These songs revealed a deeper, more contemplative side of Grace, showcasing their ability to channel complex feelings into beautiful, meaningful music.
After high school, Grace's journey took them to California for college and now, having returned to New England, Grace is ready to share the next chapter of their story with us through their music. It is with great excitement that we welcome Grace back to the Dojo stage at the Music Fest.
