@@noel0004 the ge90 is still pretty modern the most modern jet engine however is the genx the Trent xwb might be a new engine but unlike the genx it still has old school systems on it the trent1000 is even more advanced then the Trent xwb aswell

Considerably quieter than my first flight ever way back when on a 707.
Same as when I was sat next to a Rolls Royce Spey engine, back of a BAC 1-11 in 1995 .. Damn that thing was noisey.
