Awesome information, now how does the IPD swaybar compare to the original swaybar

I'd say it modestly improves handling.
It really shines when combined with other suspension and chassis modifications.

torque specs for bolts? That would be helpful if they exist. Thanks

Will this help out with stability in high winds?

Remember to turn the aierlon correction into the wind and apply opposite rudder....wait....wrong video...I think the anti-sway bars have helped, but then again, it could be all the extra weight in my car or I could also be convincing myself...anyone else have a more objective understanding of anti-sway bars?

If you’re going to install new “pretty” sway bars on your wagon, why not spend a few bucks degreasing the undersides of that thing?! That’s a phenomenal amount of grimy build-up under there.

I have the underside of the car coated with hot oil every winter for rust prevention.

IPD anti-sway bars are not a cosmetic upgrade. They are beneath the car, painted blue for the benefit of squirrels, little birds, and the like. It’s a performance upgrade, but I’m sure you knew that.

@@longfade I have soured on IPD "performance" parts, which for me have worn out prematurely. My "HD" swaybar links failed after 10k miles. Mostly for ego gratification. There are numerous outlets like Snabb and Viva that deliver genuine upgrades.
