@@jazminebennett8844 demi in general was having a hard time with their mental health and addictions and personal issues, and left the show. it went on to just be "so random" but then it was cancelled after a season.

I just found out that it's "sOnny" not "sUnny", here in my country it was called "Sunny Entre Estrelas" ("Sunny among stars" in brazilian portuguese) so I always tought it was sunny like the weather, they even pronounce it like that, I'm like ??? Why "O" ?
To be fair, in English it is still pronounced like Sunny. I guess Sonny is just more likely to be someoneâs name (though I canât say that Iâve seen the name Sonny outside of the show). And the name of the show is supposed to be a play on the phrase âSunny with a chance of rain,â which is often heard in weather reports and parodies of weathermen. Itâs so interesting to see how it was marketed in other countries!
