demi derailed the entire show because of her drinking issues. the rest of the cast didnt get their big break like the hannah montana, suite life, wizards, raven etc casts got because the show was cancelled so early. its kinda sad because their follow up show flopped so bad and none of them have careers now, same as demi tbh. her drinking was out of control even when she had all the help and all the cast helping her. and she was a literal teenager.
I would never forgive Disney for not making Mackenzie falls an actual show.

The fact their was no closure to Sunny and Chad's relationship after the huge breakup over Chad picking an award over their relationship still haunts me. In general, their is no true ending for this show, because Demi left and the show shifted gears drastically to make So Random, Disney's version of The Amanda Show/Saturday Night Live. It's good that Demi recovered, but I know she will never go back to Disney to reboot this show.
Watch the reunion, it gave the best closure

i always loved SWAC out of all disney shows cause i was a huge demi fan and had the biggest crush on sterling. i'd just watch it on tv so i dont really remember if i ever finished it or not.. all i remember is that i knew they broke up and that it got cancelled cause demi left the show.
i started seeing some short clips from the show so i decided to rewatch the whole thing and now i am heartbroken with the way it ended!!! i knew they broke up but i didnt know that they never got back together in the show. even if i watched the sonny reunion from 2 years ago and demi and sterling basically said that channy would've gotten back together, i still feel like there's no closure. :((
im so happy demi put herself first and sought help before things got worse, but now im stuck wondering what wouldve happened in s3. channy's dynamic wouldve been something we havent seen from them since theyre now exes who clearly still have feelings for each other. now im feeling so sad because of this and idk how to move on :(((
Yeah it still blows my mind how three actors that were part of my childhood and teen years became much more. I have a cat, a wizard, and a sunny day.
I still get sad knowing s3 was greenlit then got turned into So Random as a spin-off. Like s3 probably would’ve been Channy working on their friendship in order to get back together. I really wish the show got at least 2 more seasons..

@@ling6029 I love when the actors love the show sm and they wanna keep playing the characters. Whenever I rewatch SWAC and get to the last episode (I call it the season/series finale) I be like damn cause it’s such a buildup for the next season and just ends up being a big cliffhanger.
@@beebeevids6851 a lot of things were gonna happen in SWAC season 3: we were gonna meet Sonny's dad, Channy relationship would have reverted to what it was back in s1 but with a twist, Sonny would have gotten a potential new love interest, the New Girl from the finale would've become a recurring character along with the Patio place.. so yeah we lost a lot :(

Say what you will about “Disney funny” because this was in fact “Disney funny”, but the lines were acted out, delivered, and timed well, which gives you the feeling that they are funnier jokes than usual. This was still the suite life era before we get into the next generation of shows. I think that next generation missed what made that work.
