    Got this done at modern muscle with long tube headers and tb with tune. Now it throws a no bus code, reset everything with battery disconnect. Code came back after 94 miles. Taking to dealer in couple days, will be sending bill to modern muscle afterwards.

    Been so long I forgot how much of an ass pain those clips are. Definitely lost some chunks of the nails when I did mine. Totally forgot about the small screw driver to help pop em up.
    Tuned it for the results.

    This is going to sound crazy, but we once had a zip tie rub a hole thru a metal fuel rail on our skid steer. Might need to make a custom bracket to hold that.

      Good to know, maybe I’ll put something between the zip tie and fuel rail to protect it more

    Hey man I know this is pretty old but I’m doing this now and I keep reading something about spacers needed for 5.7 injectors to sit properly in 6.4 Intake.
    Just looking at both injectors they appear to be the exact same size physically.
    Did you encounter this “issue” ?
    Did you install 5.7 or 6.4 injectors.
    Along with the intake, my lifters sound like they’re ready to retire so since it’s all coming apart I have the intake, long tubes, hellcat oil pump, 6.4 camshaft, and new lifters going in… (maybe springs also).
    Point is I could probably use the bigger injector but won’t get a tune right away unless there is a box tune that can help get me down the road for a few weeks.
    Do you have any experience with OTC tuners?
    Thanks- I know it’s a lot but any suggestions per your experience will likely help.

    • @ZacWade
      @ZacWade  Před rokem +2

      They probably don’t have the mmx harness so they have to wire everything themselves. You will have to wire extensions to 3 existing harnesses for the throttle body, map, and one other sensor.
