Dust is screen protector's mortal enemy. No matter how careful you are, all it takes is one tiny speck of dust to ruin uniform clarity lol. It took me like 7 tries to finally get the screen protector on where nothing would nag me. Even so, it ain't perfect. I have a very tiny (wet-like) blob towards the bottom right of the screen. However, it is almost invisible to see when the screen is on unless I were to strain myself looking for it. I figured that is the best I can do, and if that tiny imperfection is not triggering my ocd, then it isn't worth it to try to be perfect....because then you run the risk of making it worse. That would be my advice. Do not be afraid of settling for imperfection if you find yourself not being bothered by that imperfection.
the bubble should go away on its own. has that happened yet?

Yeah would be great if the switch was sold with screen protector installed . I got playmax tempered screen protector . Not sure it has plastic template like this. It says “Japanese material tempered 9h hard glass , ultra thin 0.33 mm thick. Hope it goes well. My last switch I fitted did ok no bubbles except on the outer bezel . No dust under was main goal or bubbles on screen
I get massive anxiety every time I put one on. It’s worse then Dark Souls..

Just got the Oled and used ivoler. I got it right for the first time ever. I'm horrible with screen protectors and also OCD. Not one speck of dust or bubble. I couldn't believe it, but I did take my time under a bright light.
I was worried about some comments when I've purchased this, talking about the corners not covering the screen properly; but with the video seems that is just a very little problem: just the screen protector that has corner more rounded. Waiting for my oled to be delivered :)
I ordered one too, but was concerned about some of the comments. This looks fine to me. The rounded corners are ideal so it doesn’t snag and pull up as easy.

I got the same brand a slightly different one idk why there’s different versions of the same protector but mine the first one I failed to much dust and the dust wouldn’t come off the protector after I peeled it off the second one was perfect it’s easy to get it perfectly straight on because of the screens edges but some might have a problem lining it up

Well of course mines has tiny bubbles and 1 speck of dust underneath but at least it can't be seen while the system is on.
What do I do if I already removed the film on the oled switch? Can I still install the normal screen protector

What's your issue with it? I have an amfilm screen protector on my OLED and it's fine. Also have one on my regular Switch.
@@Merz0r he probably thought installing it was hell. I wasted the 3 I got the first one i didn't align it right and the next 2 I got a piece of fiber from the dry cloth it came with in it. Pissed me off the dry cloth it came suckksss.
Amfilm ones sucks. Tried them and even following instructions ended with bubles. Tried to take it off and it isbso fragile that by using my nails, one corner crack.
2nd one bubles and dust from the cloth it comes with. 3rd one the same shit with bubles. The are nowhere near the same quality as the ones they made for the regular Switch.

Does it cover the scratch’s that are already on the switch? Or do I have to peel off the screen protector? Because mines all scratched up, and I wanna remove it.

No Nintendo says to keep that on. That’s not a heavy duty screen protector rather a anti shattering film.

@Manab Jaman don't spread false information. The first screen protector is not only an anti-scattering film to stop the glass from shattering in case of breaking, but it also helps with touch input clarity. It doesn't affect clarity at all.

Is the plastic screen protector that the OLED comes with still on yours? Or did you remove it to install this glass one?
Don’t take that off. That is a film which is needed on the switch to help input touch. Take that off and it will be difficult for the switch to read touch inputs.
@@YuseiXAki100 I plan on buying one some time next year. I pretty much play docked 95% of the time with my regular Switch anyway, but I didn't know how important that plastic screen protector was on the OLED. Thanks a ton 👍

Not all Nintendo Switch games use this feature, but the Switch itself is capable of touch screen alongside using the joycons or other controllers.

Two questions - does a screen protector diminish image quality and when it's time to replace the screen protector, wouldn't removing it have a chance to remove the anti-shatter film Nintendo put on from the factory when you're attempting to replace it?
Yes it does diminish quality and no it wouldn’t damage the anti scatter film

Some people are saying they never received the yellow frame tool when they ordered via amazon
Same happened to me, i messaged the seller on amazon and they said their team made an error and sold the wrong ones without the frame tool. They said within a week they'll have the right ones available.

did you peel off first the screen protector that already on it?
Don't peel it off, is not a screen protector. Is an anti-shatter film in case screen brakes the glass wouldn't scatter around. Please dont listen to fools that say is a screen protector, just buy one and install it to your OLED.

Get another screen protector im on my 4th try 😑 it's costing me a fortune reeeeee
Use the hot shower method. Turn on the water for a few minutes it encapsulate the dust and wipe down the surface you're going to use. I've used it to out the screen protectors on my phones, two switches and tablet. No dust or air bubbles.

Yes but it’s a soft one and if it gets scratched or comes off, it can wreck the screen. It’s best to have a glass protector on top of it.
That is an anti-shattering cover. So if the glass brakes, it won’t make small shards. As said, its soft and if it gets scratched there’s no fixing that.

Finding an environment dust free is harder than installing the screen protector itself

no. he's applying a glass screen protector on top of the plastic layer the switch already has. the plastic isn't really a screen protector its just there to stop glass going everywhere if the screen breaks.
I ordered this and the yellow plastic frame was NOT in my order EVERYONE be careful when thinking about ordering this brand of protector
