What if The Joker was Jimmy Fallon all along
The over the top scenery are all in their head, the name basically means madness for 2, so they’ll both be in their own wee world when they’re singing and dancing, while falling in love. She’s hinted as a patient, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is still a Dr. Even the court scenes, she’s singing there, she could be his doctor, talking about a patient. And they’ll be suspicious that his doctor turns up in Clown makeup. And then both doing the dance, is basically showing that she’s following his psyche, his madness. Because she’s slowly going bonkers with him. I kind of hope he’s in there for years, long enough to maybe bump into a slightly only teenage Bruce Wayne again, and I 100% believe he is his brother (with Mr Wayne being Jokers real father). Would be a cool reason why Batman doesn’t want to “Kill” Joker. Look at the signs when they’re dancing down the steps, hints that it’s ALL in their imagination, the dance is just in his head, sharing his joy.
Props to them for breaking immersion having Steve Coogan and his american accent. What the actual f*** lol

Fan service is exactly what it is. Same as when Harley rubs lipstick on her face in the shape of a smile, when she simulates shooting herself in the head and when Arthur is running from the police - they’re nods to what went well in the first film.
I’d like it if they weren’t part of the final cut and are just there to draw in audiences (although ironically it actually puts me [and Limmy] off) but I’m not hopeful.

Yeah i eas surprised upon my rewatch after a few years that i do enjoy the third much more. I appreciate two and what its doing and its really impressive and memorable, but 3 is just more original and fun

This teaser was absolutely stunning. Feels like an appropriate continuation of the story while doing some very fresh and original in the genre. That last shot was what its all about!! Love it. Cannot wait for October!
Coogan in serious acting mode is always really jarring to me. He always seems very stilted

Jesus. He spent half the video on the STAIRS not realizing that it's not even real. The background is a black void. Just like all those other ridiculous shots of Harley skipping towards Joker while he's snapping, etc. He was looking at it for so long and being so DEAD SERIOUS FOR NO REASON and using cat analogies like... JUST LOOK AT IT, IT'S NOT REAL, THEY'RE CLEARLY NOT ACTUALLY IN THE CITY RANDOMLY DANCING WITH NO CONTEXT, BECAUSE "FEEDBACK."
He is obviously imaging everything. I think he really leaves the asylum. It's clever how the trailer leaves you unclear whether Gaga is a Dr or patient.
