TDS-3 & PH Water Level Test Results for Hydroponic Garden System

Decided to perform a little experiment on the water that we have supplied to us from our water company and see if it was beneficial for our plants in our Hydroponic garden growing system and hazardous to human consumption..Results were astonishing

Good vid thx,,, Did you do the calibration on the pen`s ? . i read that one should flush them with ph neutral water in-between the tests as well.. How to calibrate PH Meter for your hydroponic garden

I have TDS meter 3 but I don't know what was the exact reading when I tested my water refilling station? 102 is this 10.2..Thanks for your answer

First question would be what water did you add nutrient mixture to? Second question would be did the meter read have a "x10" on it or not because the video is too blurry to tell on youtube. Does the TDS meter even have a "times ten" capability. We really need that information for thei video to be helpful.

my one says 925 with nutrients, is this okay for plants ?

Tnx Larry, for demonstrating the TDS-3 meter, mine is new, only 3 weeks now, but yeaterday, when i tested my water with my nutrients, the correct mix of masterblend 4-18-38, epsom salts & calcium nitrate, it waa reading 18.2, so i added ph down..waited an hour, put it back in, and it was 16, did it again, 2 hrs later it went back up to 18.2, is that normal, it should hav gone down considerably, iv now used half of the bottle of 150ml ph down, and still the same!! Maybe meter is broke i think! Its the exact same meter u have! And i used 2 gallons of purified water, which was alkaline level 8.2

Yes nutrients are 3500...is a high for leaf vegetables...
