I,m 73 years old and want to learn to sew. Thank you for your help…
Hi Janet, that's so nice to know. I hope you enjoy the process. If you need any help along the way please feel free to reach out. 😊
Love this dress!
Thank you! Happy to hear that😊
This is a beautiful dress! ❤
Thank you! 😊
How do you deal with the extra bulk in the French seams at the waistband?
Hey, so I haven't used french seam on the waistband. The waistband is patched onto the waist joint so the seam allowance gets sandwitched between the waistband piece and the dress.
Is this pattern only sold as a pdf?
Yes that's right. They are only sold as downloadable PDFs.
@PinsnPatterns that's so disappointing...I want regular patterns...and I loved this dress 👗
Ohh.. I'm so sorry to hear that. The pdfs are quite easy to download and print out though, just in case you change your mind. 😊
@PinsnPatterns I understand that but I'm a little old fashioned. I don't mind paying for a pattern if all I have to do is open the package and use it. But I am not sure about paying for a pattern that I then have to pay to print out...last one I bought had over 50 pages to print...then spend a couple of hours taping it together...hoping not to mess it up...then after all that I can begin my project. I don't think that's something I will do. I appreciate that you have designed a lovely pattern, I just wish it was in a more user friendly form for me
Well thank you for your perspective :)
