  • In this video, I build the most powerful No Graphics card gaming pc I’ve ever put together on this channel! We use the all-new Ryzen 7 5700G overclocked to 4.6GHz on the CPU and 2400Mhz on the built-in Radeon 8 GPU, This thing is a Beast when it comes to integrated graphics and this 8 core 16 thread ZEN3 5700G can handle anything you throw at it from PC gaming to emulation like RPCS3 for PS3, CEMU for WiiU and even Xbox 360 using xenia.

    • @othinus
      @othinus Před 3 lety +19

      @Sir Isaac Newton It's a chip where the CPU and GPU are in one die(socket). Easier to manage temperature because you don't have to worry about cooling two seperate components, just the one. It also has the advantage of needing less overall power to run at optimum performance.
      Downside is that it relies on Dual Channel Memory(2 or 4 sticks of RAM) The higher the speed the better the GPU performance of an APU.

    I wouldn't use this case for an APU build, unless my intent was a dedicated GPU later. Your Chopin build shows what an APU can truly do. You don't need nay expansion slots, most ITX boards have WiFi, so build to those strengths, and make a portability-focused build that can fit in a bag.
    The 1650 low profile exists not because it's a good card, but because once you find the right home for it...you can do something special with it. If you're going to use an APU, make a computer that you can throw in a bag, and call it the ultimate LAN box. That's something special. A full-size case with a 240mm radiator and no GPU just feels like something...lacking.

    Very nice overclocks! This setup overclocked looks like it plays phenomenal! Very nice work! I really like that you make these videos about these APUs! It shows what you can really do if you try..that 240aio sure is worth it in this scenario. Keep it up man! I have a 3080ti FE and a Zotac 3060ti and next gen APUs have me actually prettt excited especially if we can get some FAST ddr5 ram with actual decent timings..maybe a year or so after AM5 launch the ram will start to get better timings. Imagine if next gen or semi close future APUs get a bit of dedicated vram. Even if just 2-4 gigs it potentially could be a huge game changer..I’m imagining a 7800g3d with 4gigs ddr6x vram built in and 64gigs Vcache similar to the 5800x3d but an APU…OMG SOON we seriously won’t NEED a dedicated gpu for mid tier or even a little AAA gaming. I’m pretty dang stoked for the near future for PC parts in general…ddr5, AM5, pcie5.0….the list goes on and on…it’s coming friends and it will be here before we know it!! Cheers..✌🏼

Remove the OC put it in a sff case. Your kids have got a seriously good machine perfect for what theyre going to be doing with it. And the SFF makes it a lot easier to fit in their room or downstairs in your living room.

    Great Job my friend. For most people this could be a waste of money and effort. But I love to see what can be done with those APUs and those who push it to the limits. It´s really very impressive what they can do, but for now I think 5700G it´s a little overpriced and not the best deal.
    I´m looking forward to change my actual desktop rig, a Dell Optiplex 3060 sff equipped with an i5 8400 paired with the well know GT1030 from Zotac. But all of the gameplays I see there´s no HUGE difference between this GPU and the APUs Graphics. Maybe when the 7000 series come over it worth the upgrade. Meanwhile, I´ll stick with my actual build wishing a mind blowing APU to come from AMD.
    By the way, i´m looking for a cheap and easy to use external GPU enclosure that´s compatible with my actual rig, maybe i´ll go forward and grab a rtx 2060. This way I think that my actual i5 could live for more 1 or 2 years before DDR5 become cheaper and industry standard. What options do you recommend?
