This is the complete build video on the making of the Basilisk custom guitar. This is a design that I have named the Basilisk, and it is my own design with some influences from PRS. This build was completed on September 7th, 2020.
The body is Ash with a birdseye zebrawood top, the neck is Pau Ferro, and the fretboard is zebrawood.
The pickups are the Crimson Guitars "Classic Hookers" set.
The bridge is a Hipshot HM-Gibraltar bridge, the tuners are locking Hipshot open-gear tuners.

That body shape is fantastic, its like you've blended what I like in an Ibanez and a PRS together and its so well balanced. The finish is superb too; its so nice when a guitar is as striking and interesting on the back as it is on the front.
Thanks for explaining the process as you go along. I hate vids that are silent. You have some mad woodworking skills, and sue nice tools!
nice guitar. narrated by the human embodiment of xanax
Great job !!! Looks awsome. I really love the choice of the fingerboard.
Your inlay work is inspiring as always!
Wow this is an awesome build!
Gorgeous!

Nice work!
thank you that zebrawood is amazing!!
Sick man!
Great looking guitar. love the dog!
I love all your designs but I think this is the first one that I see myself playing. Only thing I’d add is a forearm contour but that’s nitpicking. Definitely hoping this design will be on the template shop :)
congratulations you are an all-round artist, I wanted to ask you a detail, what do you apply in the perimeter of the body and the handle? is it a simple strip of plastic?
No one but this before I can
Does the demo dude play in any band? His spacey-ambient tunes are quite rad.. so is the guitar, as usual :)
Do you run a ground wire from cavity to cavity to connect the shielding paint? Or is there enough coverage from assembly screws? In particular, I'm thinking about the pickup cavities.
Who's your wood supplier? You get some amazing pieces.
Sorry bro, but those pickups don't do that beautiful guitar ANY justice!!!! That needs emg 81/85s in it!! I.M.O
