It was an MMORPG from the early 2010’s, they really couldn’t do much, and it’s still a good MMORPG, but I recommend SWTOR more, still good tho.
A lot of games at the time had more cinematic trailers or cutscenes while the actual gameplay was lower in quality. Technology wasn't as powerful back then and couldn't handle it. Plus even if they could have made this amount of detail fully integrated into the gameplay the budget wouldn't of likely allowed it.

i actually made my character look just like Fracture on day one of the game, called him it too. The amount of people that thought I was a mod or admin was hilarious.
That does sound funny. I use to actively find glitches in the game and used them to mess with people (without actually hurting anyone's gameplay of course), and would tell them secrets I had found. I was called a hacker or a mod dozens of times. I still love the game.
The comic really filled in the gaps of the story. Highly recommended. Comic name: "DC Universe Online: Legends" It explains everything. From how the battle started between heroes and villains and Luthor's time travel.
3 things I have to say
1) why was the Shazam blast so damn strong
2) Flash is supposed to move at light speeds, and should’ve been able to save green lantern
3) Green Lantern saw the shield he made break and decided to try 2 more times
Thats black adam but where is captain marvel at and the flash is a fast as me in this also green lantern never been hit so hard in his life so his concussion was the reason for his low shield IQ 😂😂😂😂😂
The Shazam blast was combined with the explosion of the lantern ring. You’re forgetting the lantern rings are the strongest weapon in the universe because they have unlimited potential.

They really had some great cutscenes.
A more updated version of this would he great. But honestly the best thing about it seems to be the movement options and that you do have a good amount of choice for your abilities.

I just realised that Deathstroke stomps on Wonder Woman's sword at 1:52 which is why she switched to fists. And when Superman catches Adam's punch at 3:47, there's a small shockwave that sends the cars flying. Insane details.
The Justice League vs the Legion of Evil (or the villains) was too BRUTAL and on top of destroyed Metropolis where the heroes give their best, I can't believe what I saw I would like to see this on the big screen or animated 😃💙
Even with no context, this is still better than the Justice League live action movie.

This is almost how I imagined a full DC movie. If this was a film in the DCEU with all the original cast like Affleck and Cavill I would genuinely watch it.
For those of you that didn’t play the game, in the “Battle for Earth” dlc (which was relatively very early in the game’s life) They finally defeat brainiac and all 3 of his most powerful avatars (one for tech, one for meta, and one for magic).
After beating him lex appears and tells you what his plan was all along: to break through to the “nexus of reality” so that he could change the universe how he sees fit. (Future) Batman then appears out of nowhere and says “I told you I’d be coming for you” and they both jump into to the nexus.
Then in the follow up dlc “origin crisis”, you stop Lex and the council of luthors (multiple lexs from different universes) from changing reality within the nexus (with the help of the council of batmen). Obviously if you’re a villain then you actually helped Lex and fought against the council of batmen tho, but usually the villain stories aren’t considered canon in the game. Going into the nexus causes paradox reapers to start appearing tho so after defeating Lex you have to go deeper within the nexus and defeat the paradox tyrant and it’s other avatars.
There were also a few “side” missions where you had to stop Lex from altering Superman’s and Batman’s past, keeping them from becoming evil in the future. And obviously if you were a villain then you help Lex do it lol. It was (imo) the hardest and most fun dlc they have ever released to date.

@@kaiosorridente1806 it has been shown in the comics that information read at superspeed only stays in the memory for a brief time, the knowledge does not last. It quickly fades from his memory if he used the Speed-Force to acquire the knowledge. Plus knowing stuff doesn't make you smart, it's how you apply what you know to what you don't know that makes you smart, if you're an average person, you can come up with a solution to a problem in one minute, Flash would be able to come up with the same solution in less than a second, but he is still thinking like a regular or above average person, he just doesn't think at the same level as someone like Batman, Mr Terrific, or Lex Luthor, since they are geniuses.

It emotionally pains me that this is what the dc cinematic universe should’ve been. Imagine seeing this on the big screen in imax. All the heroes and Villains battling it out. Instead we got that disaster of a movie Justice league. Watching how bad that movie was destroyed a special part of my childhood. The justice league animated tv show was everything to me and to finally see it being made into a film only for it to be a monumental flop, is just so devastating. Maybe one day someone will right that wrong.

To be honest, with few exceptions, I don’t really enjoy a lot of live action superhero stuff, DCEU, or MCU. I’ve always preferred the DCAU to the both of them. That Justice League cartoon will always be my favorite superhero adaptation.

It's a pretty cinematic and all, but the power scaling of the characters is way off to the point it's hard to take seriously, and considering this is about superheroes, that's saying something.
There are some attempts at explanation, like Brainiac syphoning the Speedforce so Flash goes slower and Wonder Woman being exhausted after days of fighting, but none of them really adress the issue, really.
The creators of the cinematic explain why that is. Green Lantern's arm is shattered, and he's only keeping it together with the ring -- so the storyboard creators explained how his will is not only diverted to keeping his arm together but also trying to fight Black Adam after days of near endless fighting and no time to heal/recharge.
They explain that Batman is offering tactical support throughout the whole battle and not directly engaging, which is why he's probably the healthiest of the group. Superman had been greatly drained and lost a lot (morally/emotionally) so he was enraged and was trying to restore his power before re-engaging in battle.
And Barry was extra slow because the Speed Force had been practically depleted. Braniac was siphoning the Speed Force during the battles in the background, but it was unbeknownst to Barry at the time, which is why he had to compensate with extra armor and was barely able to get across the battlefield.

@@kjk7611 actually they do, if superman is injured or goes too long without solar radiation he gets weaker. He won’t die but his powers aren’t as effective. And Wonder Woman can lose her energy too, Batman’s contingency was to literally to make her fight till her heart gave out

Are you sure? That's what Snyder was trying to do. He was highly influenced by this game and the Injustice games. But people wanted humor and a retro lighthearted Superman.
Alex Tepishkin no. They didn’t. People love dark movies, look how well Joker did. DC fans just like to pretend that it was the movie being dark and not the lack of an overall direction that made BvS bad.
@@thedarkfrost2351 take the Joker movie, swap him with another non comic book movie character and the movie would have been a failure. It was mostly successful because of the Joker brand, the orchestrated political hype it created and the fact that people just wanted another reason to rant on Jared Leto. It might have done well in the cinema but it hasn't got much rewatchability value as it is quite boring and we'll see how well it will sell on disc.
@@alextepishkin1516 Snyder's movie (the version that the public saw at least) was an incoherent and weird story. The story is what matters. The reasoning for why the characters do things is lame unlike in this intro to dc universe online. Plus, Batman was fat, and Luthor had a weird high pitched voice in the movie.

We might never get a justice league movie this badass in our lifetimes. They stopped trying to even connect the movies anymore. We got Joaquin joker and Pattinson Batman who are completely separate from each other who are completely separate from the main DC movies who no longer have Affleck Batman and Cavill Superman. BROTHA891 while marvel have had their shit together for years and years and years. Even when switching hulk actors they still kept the connection between the two instead of saying the first hulks w the first actor werent related to the marvel overall movie schematics. Such a great job

I see ppl talking about how nerfed or buffed certain characters were, or how Flash was so slow Adam's lightning was faster than him, but to me the craziest part is how the lightning was already visible even before Adam finished saying Shazam. It also looks like the lightning is only a few meters away before Adam even reaches the final M in Shazam, meaning that, to come from the sky, the Living Lightning must've left when he barely started saying the word. Also, while if it hits someone that isn't Adam or Shazam, the lightning will pulverize the person, but it never has that crazy bomb like explosion like here, unless it's because it hit the ring, though that's weird because the explosion is all yellow like the lightning, and another thing weird is how it didn't hit Adam instead of Lantern, as the lightning was going for Adam, and Adam was on top of Lantern. The Living Lightning was probably the most buffed out of everyone here.
