Because Lex had a device to counter him so it was better to take him out inmediately. He was toying with the Squad because he knew they had 0 chance to kill him. That's why Batman and Green Lantern are angry with The Flash after this mission.

@@victor_2216 That's 100% true, and the fact that DC doesn't know how to write Flash well because he'd either be too OP or he has to be too stupid and let his opponents (who are moving like snails against him) get the upper hand in order to create drama. I think this is why Marvel only has one well known speedster (Quicksilver) and they don't let him become as fast as Flash because they'd write themselves into the corner as well.

Barry views being a hero as basically a job, Wally views it as fun as well. However it seems like whenever Flash is written in the JL, writers default to DCAU Wally Flash even for Barry.

Lex was correct that scale of destruction and the invasion that far in isnt gonna be done easily he had a good point but had to face a person that can insta kill
lex is dumb and short sighted. he should have aligned himself with waller since she had at least an army at her disposal instead of trying to take on evil justice league by himself.
in DCeased he sees the city is lost and kneels before superman, putting their differences aside and helping them. in this scenario an evil justice league is pretty much worse since they have flash and superman already (in DCeased they are good guys a while before succumbing) and a giant alien invasion on their hands.
He is used to underestimate them heroes because of societal constraints.
It sucks that Batman was taken by surprise by Brainiac, should not have happened. If only his anti batman robo suit was created in this timeline.

I like this scene once Wonder Woman comes in. The voice actors for Flash and Wonder Woman did a great job of making it emotional and tragic.
Makes me genuinely hope to see this version of the characters, or a similar one, where they're like.. not, evil, and actually get to interact as heroes. Or at least these VA's return possibly to give it a few more goes.

@@brokenbeaniegaming3263 Bullets are supersonic. They travel faster than the sound of their own gunshot. No, Barry's just that fast he'd see it coming once it got close. Even if it was only a foot away when he noticed it, he's fast enough it may as well be standing still.
@@Angaraman No it would hit him. He's not omniscient. From behind, while having a normal speed exchange with a non speedster - he'd have no possible indication of a bullet coming his way.
Now perhaps he'd move fast enough to avoid extreme damage if he reacted when the bullet began penetrating his armor...but that's it. He'd have to take some kind of a hit without foreknowledge of the bullet coming his way

Speedster has so much momentum stored in his each atoms that even with just single touch it can dematerialise any solid matter in 1/299 of a second. And even the opposite sonic thrust can even push a tank 10 miles at the least without even touching and yet it still takes time to kill someone even in his moralless form. I think Writers don't want Speedsters to show full potential...
