@@GinoongVince Well I'm referring to the comic book version. The original Thanos is someone who gets off on that shit. So yeah. It won't work on him. But you could argue the movie version doesn't have regrets either. He may be hurt by it, yes. But he doesn't regret it. He seems to believe in his goals and ideals THAT much. It's as he said, the hardest choices require the strongest wills. He has the will to act on those choices. That's why he has no regrets for doing it. But also keep in mind this is coming from someone who hasn't actually watched those movies, so I'm probably speaking out my ass. Do correct me if I'm wrong. xD
Kin well if it's Johnny blaze ghost Rider yeah but it it Robbie Reyes ghost Rider he would wreck thanos since he doesn't have the spirit of vengeance but the spirit or a serial killer that would be more than happy to straight up kill him
@@joshdaniel976 Well Eli not being a spirit of vengeance doesn't necessarily make Robbie stronger. If anything it makes him weaker. Zarathos is FAR stronger than Eli. When Johnny lets Zarathos take full control of his body, his power rivals Mephisto. And Mephisto is powerful enough to put the Universe at risk when fighting someone his equal. Zarathos has a RIDICULOUS amount of power. There's a reason why he's considered Omega level. Because he is. He's one of the strongest marvel characters that exists. Can Zarathos beat someone who has all the Infinity stones? Dunno. Maybe. But the point still stands that the penance stare cannot be used on Thanos. At least not in the comics. Now if we're talking MCU Ghost Rider (Robbie from AOS) against MCU Thanos? Yeah no. I don't think Robbie stands too much of a chance from what we've seen so far. But who knows. Maybe he just hasn't shown his full power yet.
Why does marvel have to cancel everything ghost rider related? He’s the coolest character of marvel and I don’t see enough of him
Because Fiege has plans for GR, meaning that he's going to get a more mainstream introduction to the MCU rather than a show on a site not everyone will own.
I would love to see him in another video game. Personally the way he looks in the movies is my favorite. Not too many muscles, not a lot a bulk. But he can still kick your ass is the most badass thing to me

@@Kernalpanik I'd argue but....GR was supposed to get an Animated Series like Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, Iron Man and Fantastic Four had at the time except of course "too scary for kids" cancelled it.

@@mattwing05 Because so far Nick Cage is the only one to have played Johnny Blaze in live action. There isn't a multiverse yet because Loki Hasn't happened THEREFORE That was meant to be the Nick Cage version. BUT if memory serves Cage was busy with another project so getting him back wasn't an option. THUS we don't see the Rider's face. we just see the skull and the costume from the first movie.

I always laugh when people tend to forget Ghost Rider, especially when it was Johnny Blaze, has always been one of the most powerful heroes in Marvel. Especially when it remembers its origin and unlocks its angelic flames.

My best friend was a hardcore Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider fan from the '70s. His two favorite comic book characters were GR and Morbius. Sadly, he passed away November of 2020. He will never get to see the Morbius movie (if they ever make it), and his only viewing of a Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider was that Nick Cage crapfest from 2007. He had high hopes knowing that GR was going to be in AoS, but sadly it was the Robbie Reyes version. R.I.P Torrey. You are gone but not forgotten.

They really did him right in this show. Used him sparingly because they knew he was OP as hell for this street lvl stuff. They didn't have random thugs or an inhuman get the better of him for the sake of a dramatic moment. No one could stand against him

Ghost rider was always one of my favorites. He'd show up in other people's stories, they'd say "how can you judge if they deserve it?!" And then he'd look into souls.
Ghost rider is literally one of the best and we really don’t get enough of him in tv shows, films or games.
Running that flames in CGI on TV show budget? That's half the money on the fire alone.

It would be awesome, but there's a single, simple problem: how do you make the series interesting? It's the same problem with Doctor Strange. How do you reasonably quantify the power and make for an enjoyable story? It's one of the same reasons the excellent Harry Dresden TV series only lasted for a season. This kind of character is difficult to write, let alone write well.

This is only a TV show and their version of the Ghost Rider is so goddamn intimidating, they nailed it
Seriously i know they missed some budget but i think the fact that he only has a flaming skull with no skeleton hand he just look goofy to me like compared to the nic cage GR even tho they are not the same in the lore his posture just looks off and with the godamn godzilla sound effect when he transform is just hilarious

@@adanaziz6929 The Spirit of Vengeance Rider is definitely much scarier looking; movie budget and all. But the attitude of Gabriel Luna's take GR is so much better that the corniness of Nick Cage. Robbie's version of GR is all about that vengeance and not letting the body count dip.

Johnny Blaze has always been my favorite version of ghost rider. but I will admit that Robbie's skull design is more dope. I love that they recreated it straight from the comic.
They cut out one of my favorite Coulson lines. "You know, the rationalist in me wants to agree, but skull on fire presents a pretty compelling argument for 'Hail Satan.'" XD
Clark Gregg's delivery of lines like that and so many more as Coulson from Iron Man on was always just incredible. It's something incredibly important or bad ass, and said so calmly as if discussing the weather.

Its not a demon, its a mad angel, one of god's elite warriors cast down and turned insane in hell, and the rider is a depowered version, limited by the human host.
@@Gnarledreaper Well if you really want to get into it. Number one, Demons are Angels that were cast down and then became corrupted, so Zarathos technically counts even if he doesn't serve Lucifer. Number two, Robbie Reyes doesn't actually have the full Ghost Rider in him, it's just a fragment that Johnny Blaze stuck inside him to save his life. That's why his version is so weak and why he can't do the Penance Stare, that was something God gave Zarathos back when he made him to be the Angel of Justice.

I mean, by the time of the age of shield since it's so far in the future Johnny blaze had probably long perished to old age or from the curse, and the rider was most likely using his empty shell until he could find a new host for the curse.

I find it funny how Hellfire's chain looks like it's been drenched in oil and lit on fire, while Ghost Rider's looks like the chain is generating fire (at least in his return in the finale).
Hellfire just lights it, but Ghost Rider infuses it with hellfire.

It's really cool that the "devil" that Robbie met who saved him, was actually Johnny Blaze. As in Nic Cage's Johnny Blaze. He passed the curse to him. It's 100% his jacket.

Edit: Side note I love how he takes a serious look at her at 2:40. You can almost see that he can read her soul and can tell she's already in penance for what she's done. If you haven't heard, in the new Ghost Rider movie, he said something like a prayer (I don't remember fully, but it sounds like it) to control his ability with fire and when to engulf in flames.

Hulk gains his power from the one below all, ghost rider is the spirit of vengence which is a Angel made by god who is below the one above all which is equal to the one below all. So Hulks power source far exceeds that of the riders. They even fought in a comic, world war hulk not his 2ed strongest of world breaker fought ghost rider Johnny blaze mental nerf and crushed him easily. Then because of the beating Johnny lost control and the need was let up and zarathos now has full control, who of which engulfed hulk with a shit ton of hell fire which did nothing and drove off. Now you can argue that Ghost rider full power no mental blocks can fight most hulk, but World breaker, devil hulk, no mental blocks hulk, and a couple others would be a tough fought fight and he would be slaughtered by the one below all possessed hulk.
Plus nearly every version of hulk if not every version would bust that cage easily. If we speak movies and such alone then yes hulk would still bust out of it lol. Hulk is physically more powerful then Thor and Thor busted out of one while tumbling around inside of it not stationery. Ghost rider here as not shown to be powerful enough fight hulk.

Until now I was only familiar with Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch, but this guy was fucking cool. He's a Ghost Rider. This comes from a fan from the 80s and 90s. I liked this.
There’s been a lot of explanations already on how OP the ghost rider is when fighting *most* people, but just to put in a familiar name. Ghost Rider defeated Doctor Strange. Of course, it was a set up that made Strange look guilty, but I think that helps some people understand Ghost Rider’s weight class.
Plus he one shot an alternative universe or reality thanos
Ghost Rider is way above every living thing in the universe. He's the only guy directly connected to the "One Above All". So the infinity stones can't do shit, magic does nothing to him, but he performs magic. He's the most powerful character in the MCU, anyone with a soul in the MCU can be killed by Ghost Rider in seconds.

I kinda doubt it actually. First of all, Ghost Rider is Immune to magic. I don’t mean “resistant” or that he’s super tough to defeat with magic. I mean Ghost Rider literally can’t be hurt or effected by any magic. Not even the infinity stones can beat him. So, by that logic, I’d say that Ghost Rider is definitely capable of beating her.
Ghost Rider was probably the best character on AOS. Really stole that season.

I love that it's not just Johnny Blaze, I love that he's not just a carbon copy, I love that the Ghost Rider himself isn't just an angel gone insane, but a former prisoner of Hell who somehow got out, I love that it has a MIND OF ITS OWN, I love *everything* about this new Ghost Rider.
Of course it probably doesn't help that Ghost Rider is my favorite in Marvel's lineup.

I loved Ghost Rider in Ultimate comics meeting the Punisher, giving him the message "Keep up the good work" but he interpreted it as a message from his deceased wife or child and not the Devil so it warms his heart.
Wish they would team up, they'd make one HELL of a team!
Fun fact: Ghost riders penance stare (the victim goes through the suffering of the sins he commited) does not work on Punisher, because frank geniunely believes he is innocent and commited no sins. His conscious is free and clear.

@@5901990 i know that, but this version of the Ghost Rider doesn't care if you have regrets or not. Actually he doesn't even uses the stare. It just straight burn you with hell fire and that's it. And i very doubt that even Thanos could withstand that.
My most favorite Ghost Rider 💜 Gabriel Luna did an amazing job in portraying him.

Season 4 was the best season, mostly because of Robby but also because of how three stories all established in the beginning and those stories all closed. Robbies vengeance, Inhuman hatred, and Aida’s humanity. Best season, fight me if you want
I think the best one was season 5. Even though it wasn't official it was very clearly also divided into three pods. Graviton may not have been as great of a villain as Aida but he was easily the third best villain of the show, the season changed the status quo, the characters were at their lowest and it was heartbreaking and compelling to watch.
