When I was 5 I was in the waiting room at my dentists, among all the magazines there was the 1972 Johnny blaze issue. It was the first comic I read, I love bikes and comics. Ghost rider is by far my favourite marvel character(s) followed closely by the punisher.

"If Ghost Rider were to use the Penance Stare on a drug dealer, it would make said dealer want to go home and rethink his life. If the Rider were to use it on a serial killer, said killer would be put into a lifelong coma."
Reading that, all I can think about now is Ghost Rider taking the place of Obi-wan Kenobi getting offered death sticks.

Apparently, Johnny did not possess the Penance Stare at first nor fire chains. Those powers originated from Danny's incarnation and writers only later gave them to Johnny.
But he did have the hellfire Harley. As zarathos he could create a motorcycle of pure hellfire that was not subject to the laws of physics
Yes, he learned it from Danny when they reunited for the "heaven's on fire" story arc (Which is my favourite Marvel arc by the way)

I want a live-action series, of Carter Slade's Ghost Rider and Jonah Hex teaming up in the Wild West!
I really prefer Reyes' backstory as presented in Agents of Shield rather than the comics. In the show he is approached by another Ghost Rider and offered a deal in which he becomes the host of a Spirit of Vengeance in order to get revenge on the gang that paralyzed his brother.
And that other ghost rider was Johnny

Eh, more like mimics the Ghost Rider's powers. The Uncle's spirit isn't a Rider spirit per say. However he is able to mimic the Ghost Rider's abilities which in turn allows Robbie to use them.

Yeah the Angel is Zarathos, the one that possesses Johnny Blaze. In the Heavens on Fire story arc they reveal that only God can create "true" riders & only he can destroy them.
Robby Reyes isn't even possed by a demon he is possed by a hitman what the hell
the aos version is much better, he is possessed by ghost rider, after said hitman attacked him and his brother, Johnny blaze gr passed the spirit to him to save his life and get vengeance on those who has wronged him, and to finish the spirit of vengeances deals (which he does in aos)

Let's all agree that The last Ride scene of Carter Slade and Johnny Blaze in the Movie Ghost Rider will be and always badass.
I kinda like the idea of different Ghost Riders taking different "vehicles" depending on their time period.
Imagine an ancient Egyptian Ghost Rider riding a flaming war chariot. Or a futuristic Ghost Rider on a hoverboard. That one actually sounds kinda funny.

Carter Slade was the second Ghost Rider. The first was federal marshal Rex Fury, who appeared in ME (Magazine Enterprise) comics from 1949 until 1954. He first appeared as a backup feature in Tim Holt comics, issue # 11, after spending the previous five issues as “The Calico Kid”. He proved to be so popular, that he got his own title in 1950. Most of the stories were of a horror nature, so he fell victim to the Comics Code Authority. The Carter Slade version was an homage to the original.

He didn't mention that "true" Ghost Riders like Blaze are in fact Angels not Demons. This is proven in the "Heavens On Fire" story arc. The writer describes them as "heavens black ops unit". And in the story it is revealed that only God can create a "true" Rider and only God can destroy one

Issue 34 of the 1990 run is my favorite comic.
Also one of Ghost Rider's powers: the ability to "infect" anything he touches with hellfire and can turn any vehicle into a variation of his bike. He demonstrated this ability in the Punisher/Wolverine/Ghost Rider book when he was separated from his bike and turned another bike that he found into a hellcycle.

Fun fact about the penance stare: only 3 people survived it so far... Punisher (becuase he didn't feel guilty about what he has done) Deadpool (ghost rider saw all the suffering wade has endured and reverted ghost rider back to human) & Dr. Strange (Strange survived by claiming his soul back from the dead)

Danny Ketch for me. The one I remember the most, and I find a lot in the Danny Ketch series inspired a lot of the Ghost Rider character in general. (If you ignore the fact Blaze was the first, just saying Ketch fleshes the character out a bit more)
