For everyone commenting about tire PSI and spotting: Tires were at 10psi, could have been lower for sure, and Doug cannot hear us while wearing the helmet (which is required on all demo agreements). Plus, videos of people screaming "DRIVER!! PASSENGER!!" aren't fun to watch anyways.
Keep up the good work. You guys are killing the heck out of it! Love seeing KRX footage. It’s good to see other people take a machine through it’s paces before you go out and spend big bucks it so as to make a more informed decision. Thanks guys!
Hi dudes, I have been using these sort of ropes for 43 years, first time i was running a tug boat and the ropes were up to 3 inches thick and for 4wheeling i used a one inch "snap rope". I have pulled a bus out of a snowbank with my f350 diesel crew cab 4x4 so they are really tough. I use steel shackles to hook up but i see those use a knot type shackle, you could have doubled back to the Kawi if you had a ball joint on the other SXS to protect from cutting or you need another shackle, i also always keep a shive {pully} so i can pull at an angle and still get the stuck vehicle moving straight. awesome video guys
Mad props for even attempting the tubes. I’ve been there several times and would never think of trying those in a sxs. That is def set up for jeeps. That rope is awesome.
I was sold on a x3 RC....until I learned that they have a weak front end that will run you about 2Gs to upgrade..... now I’m looking at a KRX which seems bulletproof....and appears to be the best crawler in the market...
You all took it to the best rock crawling place you knew off. I know rock crawling is not your cup of tea but you proved that the machine would rock crawl under tough conditions. Great job.
Anyone that has watched for a while knows if Doug is driving it everything on the car has been gone over twice he takes pride in what he does and the machines he drives he has been doing this stuff long before youtube
Was fun to see the KRX out and about. I think Kawasaki has a decent starting point, this as a "base" model", then start powering it up for the west coast folks. Rumors are starting to fly about more models with geared transmissions, we shall see. That yankum rope is on my wish list. Need two, one for the SXS and one for the bigger stuff.
With a few mods I think that would be a great crawler but not bad right out of the box. Thanks for the video gives us a chance to see what you get off the show room floor . Hope you’re thumb is better Nick.👍👍😂😂 Take care and stay safe can’t wait for the next one.
Mike Desilets cool I was just curious I’m still a little hesitant to go really hard with my xx but I’ve had great luck so far and I’m not that easy on it.
We have the same rope in our group, Yank um provided one to my buddy The Ca-Cajun. We have used it to pull a semi truck out with a D4 dozer they are strong as they come.
Doug where's the helmet from storming Normandy?I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that's the official Doug helmet from now on .Don't disappoint! If Doug had the Normandy helmet on he would have made it over those rocks no problem 😂🇺🇸 🖒
your spotting was terrible. How many times does Doug have to say I can't see $hit before you guys start helping with spotting. Doug had a ton of patience, I would have lost my $hit.
If You watch Matts Off Road Recovery he uses those ropes for every recovery. You gotta hit HARD with them but the stretch of the rope makes it pretty easy in the equipment.
Michigan isn't exactly the Rock Crawling mecca of the world, that said, it looked like the machine is very capable with a crew who had the experience to tackle a technical trail.
Can't believe the toxic comment's in here right now...everyone take a breath...good vid...would like to have seen how one of the x3s did...did you guys run one up those rocks too?
Bigger tires lower psi should help, but I'm sure you guys know that. Might be worth doing some sort of comparison, helps notice the differences between SXS's. Also might be worth doing some sort of "decathlon" type even where the SXS's have to compete at various events and get an overall score, but might require stock units.
With a driver that knows basic rock crawling and less air in the tires the result would be much better........... I live in Moab, Utah and the rental companies switched to the KRX heavily this year, they do great on the red rocks.
@@screamneagle8420 totally agree if you guys need help let us know i've been through a what they called 100 year flood and it was not great getting to my house by boat for 3 weeks
You guys should’ve helped Doug more he had to get out of the machine way too many times come on boys he was working way too hard he’s a driver you guys are the spotters he should’ve never got out to do that winch line
you may have had only 10psi in the tires, but that thing doesn't weigh anything, so even 10 psi is alot: FWIW: most people rock crawling the Rubicon are aired down to 5 psi. you gotta get those sidewalls to flex, it has bead locks .
That's impressive! Love your videos keep up the great work. Graves has a new exhaust from the header all the way back. It requires a tune and Rraves works directly with Kawasaki to get the right tune. The new exhaust weighs less than half of the stock. Both combined are said to give between 20 and 22 horse power. It also comes with a delete tune and stalled for the governor. I thought this would be cool to see you guys put it to the test. Also curious about your input on the graves exhaust.
You guys should just make this into a second to main channel. Plug the parts on it, but also do vlogs and quick vids. Also promote this more on main channel!
send mud life up that thing. with the ground clearance it has that would be interesting to see. it would be very tippy since it is top heavy, but i bet it would just crawl right over it.
Everyone is a critic! Now give me some YXZ content! Lol
It is fun to watch that’s part of rock crawling. Almost mind numbing .
Ahh they just jealous, but I do got one thing to say. We ant takin tht rock !!!!!xD 9:08
Now guys, you know a CZcams comment section knows more about your car than you do! Haven’t you learned anything
Joshua Earnheart Lol
I feel like I'm watching Austin powers stuck in the hallway with the cart.
Just got my Kawasaki teryx krx 1000 very happy with it. It's one hell of a machine.
Keep up the good work. You guys are killing the heck out of it! Love seeing KRX footage. It’s good to see other people take a machine through it’s paces before you go out and spend big bucks it so as to make a more informed decision. Thanks guys!

Still KRX! Best rock bouncer of the bunch!
30psi rock crawling- send!
Mad props for even attempting the tubes. I’ve been there several times and would never think of trying those in a sxs. That is def set up for jeeps.
That rope is awesome.
AT $4-450.00...”$HIT NO”!! At That Price...??Hell, They Aren’t Even Throwing Any Lube In..!!

Kinda hard to crawl with 30 psi in the tires
And you can’t buy the driver
Yeah, jeepers usually air down a bit 👍🏼
They typically only run 10-15 psi in all their machines...
There probably 8 ply tires. There heavy machines
Anyone that has watched for a while knows if Doug is driving it everything on the car has been gone over twice he takes pride in what he does and the machines he drives he has been doing this stuff long before youtube
Really liking the durability of the KRX so far seems like a good unit!!😎
Remember boys a girls, "never yank off at an angle, always yank off straight. Otherwise your yank can get angled!" -Leo 2020
Timeless wisdom
You definitely don’t want a boomerang!
The only real way to discredit the KRX is to drive right up with the RZR or the XRS... I think any SXS would struggle on these obstacles.
Was fun to see the KRX out and about. I think Kawasaki has a decent starting point, this as a "base" model", then start powering it up for the west coast folks. Rumors are starting to fly about more models with geared transmissions, we shall see.

Watching this video I found myself rocking in my chair to help Doug over the humps lol
KRX did pretty good 👍 110 10/10

After being on part of the Rubicon with my XX yesterday, I can definitely relate to this video...and the crunching sounds.
What did you break
@@KC-7mm Only cracked the right front corner of the stock rocker plastic. Just above my factory utv skid. Otherwise all went well.
Mike Desilets cool I was just curious I’m still a little hesitant to go really hard with my xx but I’ve had great luck so far and I’m not that easy on it.
It needs a turbo. More power fixes everything, until it doesn’t.
Yesssssir
Nice that krx with some mods would be nasty keep up the good work guys I'm from Mobile Alabama been watching y'all for a few years
Needs a bit more travel
Wasn't sure about the KRX when they came out but that thing is a fucking tank.
We have the same rope in our group, Yank um provided one to my buddy The Ca-Cajun. We have used it to pull a semi truck out with a D4 dozer they are strong as they come.
At The End Of the Day, When It's All Said And done.
The KRX just CLIMBS THE HECK OUT OF IT.
GOOD CAR 👍👍
Keep up the good work.
Heck Ya Dudes 👍
Doug where's the helmet from storming Normandy?I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that's the official Doug helmet from now on .Don't disappoint! If Doug had the Normandy helmet on he would have made it over those rocks no problem 😂🇺🇸 🖒
Air down the tires for crawling
Just give it the sauce
Leo goes "well you went slow and pretty much shot out all the rocks we put their" lmfao 🤣
your spotting was terrible. How many times does Doug have to say I can't see $hit before you guys start helping with spotting. Doug had a ton of patience, I would have lost my $hit.
Removing the swaybars helps a ton in that type of terrain!..
Polaris g Bingo. First thing I do when I get a new machine home or old
Nice to see how she does!
Nice to see basemode and Al Borlin back on the show!
Show more KRX
Great job Doug as always
Looks like it’s time for some rock sliders boys. That plastic is boogered up. Cool video!
Go to CZcams channel "Matt's Off Road Recovery" and watch how he uses these ropes.
If You watch Matts Off Road Recovery he uses those ropes for every recovery. You gotta hit HARD with them but the stretch of the rope makes it pretty easy in the equipment.
That looks like a ton of fun . One suggestion would be to let a bunch of air out of your tires and hit your concrete tubes with a little bit of angle.
Y’all actually have a rope I’m impressed but Doug was missing his correct helmet from last video
Please add 35” roxxzillas stickies to the krx.
35” tires about 10 psi and some more practice. It would be unstoppable.
I'm watching and saying ( give it gass Doug! )🤣
Keep the rubber in the dirt.
God bless.
Finally getting more than a 0% discount by using coupon code: sxsblog 🤣
I’m thinking some mods for the KRX it’s tough but I think adding the sxs touch would definitely make it way more enjoyable to watch 🧐
I hate being a hater but honestly it didn’t do as great as I thought. I was a bit disappointed
Driver error
Doug climbs rocks as good as Nick jumps! Keep practicing and you could be competitive in the beginner class in a couple of years!
Disconnect the sway bars and throw some 35s on it and she would have walked it. Great vid and awesome machine
Doug you need to put the boys through Spotter Training! Good spotters are essential! 😜👍😎
Ya, pretty much horrible spotting...lol but it made for a good video
Michigan isn't exactly the Rock Crawling mecca of the world, that said, it looked like the machine is very capable with a crew who had the experience to tackle a technical trail.
Your the best spotter ever!!! Give me a break with the machismo
I feel like the real stars here were Ken & Nancy! 😂
Terrible spotting, just standing there an not assisting enough. To much air in the tyres but KRX looks good..
Can't believe the toxic comment's in here right now...everyone take a breath...good vid...would like to have seen how one of the x3s did...did you guys run one up those rocks too?
Doug slinging boulders around like pebbles. That’s the power of the Kenworth jacket.
Thats a Kinetic rope. Give it a hard jerk! Give about 3' of slack and just hammer down. It will work. You can't use it like a strap or chain.
Need to get over to Rocks and "Break Your Stuff"! Looking forward to seeing Doug vs Mud REDEMPTION.
Brian...with the yxz again? Will more boosty equal less stucky?
@@dannywerkmeister8334 Hahahaha... more boosty could mean deeper trenchy.
Lol dont doubt that one bit! I have faith! Doug's yxz videos is why I own a yxz today! I'm hoping to make it to the next race day and meet you all

Good job coming up with content. As a team you're burning right.
Krx needs a suspension overhaul and itll be set for king of the hammers
Lol Jeremy McGrath finished KOH with a stock KRX with only a cage and 35’s. No suspension mods needed.
We got most the way up with a 900 before we broke a axle. It's definitely harder than it looks thought. It's very tricky
I was waiting for this video. I think Rick said it was on the parts channel when you released the ride video.
ey we sat on it for a rainy day
Same here. I looked for it for awhile and then gave up. I’m glad they finally showed it. It didn’t disappoint. Keep up the get content guys! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nice to see a new video on this channel
For sale on Craigslist: little bit of use.

Those yankum kinetic ropes are awesome.
Now I know why this video is on the parts channel. Lol
Why is it? I'm lost lol
@@AlexMurray Because they don't know how to rock crawl - that's why.
Just the fact that you might need there part store after that ride. Lol

That Waz Sum Wild Rock Trails!! Good Video!
KRX needs a turbski!
Needs a set of stickies for it.
awesome krx! anymore krx videos in the future?
Very disappointed they don’t offer a turbo or super charger kit
Slap a TorqAmp on the KRX and make a video. Cleetus should be able to hook you guys up!
not hating or anything but this is why i'm skeptical about buying used side by sides..
I look for ones with used stock tires lol because those are generally abused less than ones with aftermarket setups
Mud lyfe would be interesting on those rocks
Great video, but it would have been really good to see how the other machines did as well. Maybe next time...
That's the exact front end of my 4wheeler
Holy heck you should’ve been across that whole thing in about two minutes or less LOL
Y'all need a proper rock crawler and or spotter😂
You guys should go to bundy hill offroad would be a cool vid
3 spotters on obstacles and the driver has to get out and spot his line. 😂 wow
Impressive. Couple tweaks next time and you got it.
Y'all should take the defender there
Nice rock climbing with the machine
Good stuff I like to see the krx content

5 friends and not 1 spotter.
