A thousand thumbs up guys, just please be careful.❤
Just Awesome! When an Alaskan pilot says this is sketchy AF you know its good!
Very well put together video. I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching!
Great! As always!
Awesome stuff you did in CA, thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching and sharing!
Nice video. Thanks!
Thanks for showcasing the part of the world I was born in and lived until Uncle Sam called. Born on China Lake Navy Base (that big restricted area) and lived in Inyokern. Explored that area many times. We used to do Thanksgiving dinner in Death Valley. Great video.
Thankyou both "Awaresome as Always" love the Flying, Food and Fun & Especially small town USA "Happy Days "
Love your exploration flying videos
Love it 😀
Glad to see you back at it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Richard!
I’m a fly8ma student y’all were in my back yard.
Thanks for flying around my backyard. BTW... the Inyokern airport (IYK) is on the boarder of Inyo and Kern Counties.
waaaooo! thats amazing your videos with a cowboy music jajaja ;)
At Ballarat , was that is a Rattlesnake skin hanging on the back wall??? wouldn't want to run into that beast!!
Nice Flying videos!
Neat, some locations I need to add to our Bucket List!!
You’re in the wilderness of California... where do you think the “wild Wild West” is? Lol you’re there! 😁 awesome video and good times!
I just flew into lone Pine Death Valley, north of where you were the other day in Xplane what an amazing view.
What a hoofing day out! GA is permissible in the UK but with a few conditions. Many in the UK are getting back into it and the skies are filling up. Meanwhile, I'm planning trips around the UK ;) Cheers.
Hi John, you missed one amazing place to land North of Darwin in Saline Valley, the Chicken Strip and the hot springs there. I was born and raised in Trona and we have some great off airport places around there. Goler Heights would have been another great place to land as well. I am currently working towards my Private Pilot Certificate and am moving to Kern River Valley to retire and spend many years flying the Mojave and Sierras. Thanks for visiting and for your Ground School.
Love it. Fly and see more. Stay safe guys. And Kia ora from New Zealand, which is now COVID free. Bet you can't say the same. ✈☕✌
man, that would be really awesome! flying around the desert with your buddies....my buddies and I used motorcycles to explore, since I was the only pilot in the bunch...lol..
It's a great way to spend a day!
Love the scenery out there. Will you be making a video about your trip to the Chicken Strip? Saw you visited there back in October.
Next time put the word out, I'd love to join you guys.
Say HI to Dustin for me... I'm surprised you didn't stop in at Rosamond L00 for some real food. Nice video...Ron
Will do!
Was that Star Wars Canyon you flew over on the north side of China Lake? Also, do you have more on the trip between the pinnacles and Inyokern? I'm moving to Vegas and planning to visit friends in Ridgecrest.
You missed Saline Valley hot springs. One of the best spots.
Hope to make it there soon!
Hi Jon and Steph! Hope we can fly someday soon. 😎
👍👍👍
Is Density altitude in death valley terrible to deal with? Must not be you appeared to have a short time to rotation, but will it climb ok?
Where is the thumbs up
Great video it would of been nice to have seen more of the other 170.
Your being escorted by the flying fiddler!!
Dustin is a great guy!
When are you going to sell the 170?
I guess that place with the piano is Trevor Philips' property, although there are a lot more morons in the Grand Senora Desert :-))
why would an airline pilot be worried about flying at night? lol
Cuz the planes/airports they use aren’t equipped for that kind of thing as much
That which is a minor inconvenience during the day can be life-threatening at night. When that single-engine stops you have no alternatives.
Come to CA92 I’m sure you will have a blast looks us up!!! @smilesforothers
Next time, cheap gas and good food in California City....L72.
As a visitor to another’s home, it is customary to make an honest effort in pronouncing their place names. As a pilot of the eastern Sierra and Nevada, I can say you missed........badly.
