    Awesome dude!!! Looks killer! And sounds like it’s way better for you on the buffeting…. Also cool about the tat and the bike show looking forward to seeing some footage on that :)

    Awesome fairing man. It looks great and its not only functional you can hide small items like a cellphone etc. behind it and protect your stuff from bugs. However, I've found when you're cross country riding in 95+ heat you may be ripping that bad boy off. When I crossed the Mojave desert in 100+ heat I was thankful for every cubic foot of air that was hitting my chest and face.
    If you haven't been to Born Free in Silverado, CA. its coming up in June. I had a spectacular time the few days I was there. Also, if you're looking for a good road trip almost anywhere in Arizona is awesome. I'm taking a few of my guys across country to hit all the ghost towns and biker bars in June.

      Yeah I might have to pop it off for the summer here in Texas haha. And that sounds awesome! A trip out west is at the top of my list.

    I think it looks better with the Memphis Shades fairing than the Indian OEM one. Nice job.

    The biltwel xl7 fits perfectly between the bars and the fairing

    I love the road warrior look on my bike, but i had to go with the 13" shield one... since i am 6'1 and i still kinda get buffeting on my head.

  • @RunCMDmoto
    @RunCMDmoto Před rokem +1

    I have the 11” vented and had to play around with the tilt angle to get the least buffeting. I also have the 13” non vented and with the 11” vented I get less buffeting than the 13”. Crazy

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Před rokem

      Yeah I’m still messing with the tilt angle some. Was considering the 13” but might go with the vented if it gets less buffeting.

      @@cruisingwithkyle You definitely hear about mixed opinions. I just recently rented a Road King Special while traveling. This bike had a windshield with a middle vent you could open/close while riding and while it was closed, the wind was certainly more violent on my helmet.

    Hi there! Thanks for a great video! I noticed that there was a fair bit of a gap between the fairing and the headlight. Isnt there supposed to be a tight rubbed seal that closes that gap to make sure moisture doesn't pass through? Maybe Im wrong but I know thats the case on my Scout Rogue. Is that gap always there on your bike or did you re-adjust to close it up? Thanks!

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Před rokem

      Thanks! I believe the headlight on the scout sixty is smaller so it’s a little different on mine but with some headlight and fairing adjusting it fits pretty snug.

    I love the look of the road warrior but I don't like how they nickel and dime you for every part. Can't buy just the fairing. You also need the mount hardware, headlight relo, windshield, and your firstborn son.

      Am around 5’9. I kinda wish I would’ve gone with the 13in. Depends on what type of riding you do, if you do a lot of highway miles I’d go with the 13.

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yeah it was ok, I didn’t feel any buffering or anything until highway speeds and even then it wasn’t too bad but a little taller wouldn’t hurt. I’m about 5’9 and probably would’ve prefer a 13inch

    I am not that familiar with Indian stuff. But my Harley Sportster I have a clip-on full-size windshield that mounts and dismounts in seconds with 4 quick-release clips that secure to my upper forks. It requires no modifications at all no turn signal relocation, no bolting on, none of that. Doesn't Indian have a similar product?

      I’m not sure with the Scout, but I know they do with the Chief. The Memphis Shades fairing actually come off pretty easily once I got it positioned right.
