    Got the same seat on my Scout Rogue really love it! I had my higher sissybar made by a local metal worker.

      Nice! Yeah I it’s a great seat. That’s not a bad idea, I might look around for local metal workers to see about getting a taller one.

    I just ordered my new Saddlemen step up. That stock seat is good for very very short rides but not longer rides.

      Nice! Yeah the Saddlemen is loads better than the stock.

      At least you guys have a long season. Up north our season is very short and most of it is rainy. Those sunny just-warm-enough days are few and far between. Riding season lasts from the end of April to September and that's a wrap. The bikes hibernate the rest of the year.

    Got caught in Loop 1604 traffic/ accident Sunday coming from MotoAmerica with full gear on. OMG is was excruciatingly hot. If anyone is familiar with Loop 1604 you know what I mean about traffic especially on those 100 degree days.

      Oh yeah coming back from that was probably brutal with traffic.

    Nice bike and video. Im considering getting a Memphis Shades fairing. You said you wished you went with the 13 instead of the 11 inch. Around how tall are you? Not sure what size I will get.

      Thanks! I’m about 5’9 and the Saddlemen seat that has me sitting a little higher than the stock.

    Do you have a link for that metal shifter? Sick build!

      @@cruisingwithkyle Thank you! Just ordered a set. I would have loved knowing about them sooner. The risers look absolutely sick on your bike. Maybe something I’ll try down to the road if not save up for a sports chief like you mentioned.

    Really like the exhaust but that lower pipe may stick out too far for the rear sliders that I just ordered from dean speed. Thoughts about that? How far out does that lower exhaust pipe stick out from the rear suspension bolt where the slider mounts?

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Před 7 měsíci

      I just checked out the street sliders from Dean Speed. I don’t think you’ll have a problem running them with the pipes from the looks of it.

    Question bro, so with the handlebar it’s a 1” right? Not tapered? Just straight 1” all over. Did you replaced the throttle tube as well?.

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  Před 20 dny

      It’s actually a 7/8” bar and I used a 1” adapter in the clamp area on the risers.

      Oh ok got it thanks for replying bro. I know you already got rid of the bobber, I’m still in the process of making my bobber look like yours lol. Ride safe🍻
