Awesome install as usual 👌. I drilled a hole in the same location on the fire wall for extra wires and even have the same brake controller in the same location under the column. 😆

what roll brother I liked your video a lot I have a question? I can put a shift lever ami lbz duramax from a denali? 2010 ?
I actually did some reading on this on a few forums and it looks like it will work as long as you have the right connector! You may be able to reuse the existing shifter connecter and then splice the wires of the new shifter into the old connector. Let me know if you find out more! Thanks for watching!

Does the dash display stay the same or does it display like in the 2006 and 2007 Classic showing the gear numbers?
It still displays the gear numbers as you downshift (by pressing the +/- button or by physically shifting the lever down)!
Since mine is an LLY 5 speed the first time you press (-) it only prevents overdrive (5th gear) so the gear display still says "D" and the overdrive off light will come on.
The Fleece shifter also somehow provides a nice new startup sequence where the display quickly "flashes" and sweeps from the left and right sides and makes it look a little bit more fancy haha! Thank you for watching and for the compliment!!

does your drive lockout still work with that shifter? i noticed your old 1 has the drive lockout on it but the new 1 dont
Yes, it still has overdrive lockout, you just have to press the downshift ( - ) once and it won't shift into 5th gear (and the overdrive lockout light will still come on). Thank you for watching!
Do you like the new shifter angle or is angled different then 07-13 body style
I like it much better than the original shifter angle, it always felt like it wasn't the best for it. This new shifter sits just a little bit lower in park (over the radio controls) than the LBZ does, but I could always bend and weld it if I get the time. Would definitely recommend though still!

Manual mode came factory on my LMM. I never use it. I wouldnt miss it if it never had it. Tow haul yes but not the "tap" shifter. The Alison over rides the tap shifter anyway for "safety" so its pretty much useless.
At least for me on my lly when i hit the overdrive to try and control over a hill or something its hard trying to get it in the right gear the tap shift would help a lot in those situations at least on these older model chevys

Does this give you full manual control like in a stick or does it still shift up if it thinks its over revving or shift down on its own
It will redline! It only prevents the truck from shifting above the selected gear, so after you come to a stop it will start with 1st gear. I think the the truck will allow you to take off in 2nd gear if that is selected, but that's the only exception I think. Thanks for watching!
