348 Rushes 2097 Yards
12 Rushing Touchdowns
6.0 Rushing Yards Per Attempt
131.1 Rushing Yards Per Game - Sport
The man averaged 6 yards a carry that season insane
Him tearing up the legion of boom was the most satisfying thing
As much as I love a lot of these current running backs (i.e. Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Breece Hall, Tony Pollard, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Josh Jacobs, Joe Mixon, Jonathan Taylor, etc.), there will never be another Adrian Peterson for quite some time. His size, power, strength, speed, and freakish/superhuman-like genetics were one of a kind. He was arguably the most dominant running back I ever saw play the game of American football. Granted, he was rarely used in the passing game, but damn, he was such an amazing runner.
Yeah watching them run then watching AD there just a clear difference ha
Yeah it’s visually different. Tangibly and Intangibly speaking. Started watching football in 2007-2008 season, no running Back has come close to LT or AD. MAYBE Derrick Henry but it requires a freak on nature like Henry to match them.
Saquon was more oc than Peterson back in his rookie season 💯
@@snapchat7294 Saquon is a very special running back
@@snapchat7294 Saquon's rookie season was outstanding.
Adrian Peterson's MVP year!!!
These highlights still gives me chills.. the way he came back after the ACL tear and completely ripped the league apart is beyond insane just an amazing story. SKOL
Great video, man! 8.5 months after TEARING his entire knee only to play PROFESSIONALLY & WIN MVP! They’ll NEVER be another A.P. He caught literal fire the last 7 or so games 💪🏽 #2k #AllDay
He brought excitement and joy with every touch.
Thank you for this video.
Pause
Matt Kalil always the first guy celebrating with AP after each TD
Adrian Peterson is a BEAST!!!! He’s a top 5 RB all time in my book. I was hoping that the kicker would’ve miss the field goal, so it would’ve went to OT.
Greatest running back season ever. If he had a better team he’d have broken the record
If they let him get 1-2 more carries in Week 17, he would've broke the record lol
I was 14 when I watched this man almost break the record. In Week 17, Leslie Frazier could've gave AD 1-2 more carries for 9 more yards. What Adrian Peterson did in 2012-13 was crazy.
No he couldn’t have lol. The truth is that last run Adrian had got the Vikings in fg range for a game winner. I always wished they would have just took it to OT and let Adrian get the record, we all knew Vikings were not going to beat anyone in the playoffs
@@King_Kunta True, but it was a decent amount of seconds for 1 more carry lol
@@King_Kuntayeah he was 9 YARDS AWAY!!
@@King_Kuntaok well if he they not gonna beat anyone in playoffs why not let him get the extra carry to break the record?? U dumb. U don’t know who won’t and will win it’s a game
Amazing. So many of those runs was him making something happen out of nothing.
Thank you so much been wanting for 2 years for this!!! Thank you
Gotcha any vid request??
How does this only have 100 views. I was looking for this style video.
Very epic video. AD is my favorite player of all time!
Insane player
Goated
This is 24 minutes of non stop assault. I love it
I stg Jerome Simpson probably cost him 250 yards with those atrocious downfield blocks
Him and Fred Taylor run just alike
Keep up the work gang mfs goin wake up fashitsho
Coach should’ve gone into OT on the last game to get Peterson the record. Nobody cares about a first round wild card is exit.
This mf was a walking first down
doesn't get brought up enough how wrong they were for not forcing the ball into his hands to get 10 yards to break the record. didn't make any sense!!!!!
It makes a lot of sense. This game was for the play offs. He could fumble it. A field goal is all but a guarantee.
@@colbywalker5301 actually yeah. went to look up when he got pulled and it was at the end of the game. that's tough
@@colbywalker5301I much would’ve rather see Peterson break the record instead of seeing the Vikings lose another first round playoff game lol
Honestly he has the most rushing yard for a whole season ever if u include post season so really he do got the record in my eyes
