Bio:
47SOUL is an electro-mijwez, shamstep, choubi band formed in Amman Jordan in 2013.
The members are rooted in Bilad Al-Sham, spanning the divides from Amman to the Galilee, the Golan Heights to Ramallah. This new sound of 47SOUL has rapidly amassed fans in the Middle East and Europe by blasting the electric Arabic debka sound through underground music scenes.
On top of the beats that have been bumping in the Middle East for centuries, 47SOUL hypes it up with analog synthesizers, hypnotic guitar lines, and shattering verses from the four singers. Every show ends in relentless dance and trance from all parties involved.
Their lyrics, mixing Arabic and English, call for celebration and freedom in the struggle for equality, inside Bilad Al Sham and throughout the world.
Lineup:
Z the People (vocals & synths)
El Far3i (Derbakeh, Mc/Vocals)
Walaa Sbeit (percussion, Mc/vocals)
El Jehaz (guitar & vocals)

do you have any links you can recommend. I've only just discovered about this aspect of bagpipes and I would love to discover more. Many thanks
Where did you learn in Chicago? I’m Palestinian from chicago and have been wanting to learn dabke very much so!!

👌👌That guy is playing Irish uilleann pipes
that guy is playing scottish smallpipes, actually.
I was wondering if they were smallpipes or reelpipes as the smallpipes I've heard tend to be pitched lower than this? Certainly not uilleann pipes though.
the truth is that guy is playing border pipes
They playing arabic pipe!!Pipes are originaly arabic
@@kamaloun they are from a very old world that no longer exists, it's probably one of the oldest instruments, next to the flute
Palestinians are INVENTORS of Bagpipes since + 40 centuries... + thousands years later arabs sailors give This instrument at Pict People of Highlands .
Those are Irish bagpipes, as the musician is using a small bellows to inflate the Goose and not a mouthpiece. My sister used to play the Irish pipes-John in Texas
these are border pipes, which are scottish, you are thinking of uilleann pipes
Fascinating-Had no idea that any other elbow type bag pipe existed, save for the Irish pipes-Very esoteric-John in Texas@@one-bj2ir
yeah, theres a few bellows pipes other than uilleann pipes, just not super well known, check out scottish smallpipes too@@JohnWaldron-cm7ce
so you mix an arab with an irish and you get a red haired blue eyed william wallace? weird flex but ok
EDIT: 50 more of these and I'm sure it would bring world peace
i thought he was waving a dead bat?
