These videos are great. Do you have, or can you make one showing how to replace the hazard light switch on the 2000 rx300. I need to replace the bulb in the switch.
it's normally attached to that trim piece , I don't remember that the hazard switch had a bulb inside of it, so you might need to just go to the junkyard and get a replacement button or buy one online, however I would make sure the connector is completely plugged in; But if your shifter light is working then it might be the button, if your shifter light also still doesn't work or any of your radio lights are not coming on with your park lights or headlights, I would check the panel fuse
i already have one my Ex-girlfriend gave me with the water resistant case I just haven't used it since she gave it to me nearly 2 years ago lol.. I can't wait to crank that bad boy up lol
@@NickAlexander_is_Awesome I have FWD.. pros -Reliable - GREAT VISIBILITY -takes regular fuel(owners manual agrees) -great ride, decent acceleration - Good safety stability/trac control - easy maintenance including replacing light bulbs instide and out - decent cargo - cheap parts Because there are a lot of these in junkyard, and a lot of good aftermarket and interchangeable with Toyota parts mechanically Cons - mediocre mpg(no surprise) - door lock actuators go out It may be a problem on a used one (I have videos on the repair and speaking on the issue) - Knock sensors tend to go bad on these engines(4hr labor for repair) -Hard to find aftermarket radio/head unit - crap turning radius Makes for difficult U-turns and parking - sun visors Tend to be slightly loose and fold a few degrees down

You can disconnect the old harness and install a new one under the hood... ALSO I don't know if this is for a family or a couple but there are no rear seat cupholders in the earlier models 99-00... the 01-03 seem to have them... it may not be plugged in all the way, remember, it only turns on when the parking lights are on or headlights, if you use the LED bulb, you may have plugged it in the wrong way. They are polarity specific. (i normally buy canbus which works in both directions)
@@LeytonBarry21 Yes, just search "t5 led" And you should get results, just know that if you use a standard LED it is polarity specific so if you plug it in and it does not work, just reverse it and plug it in the opposite direction
Oh, also 1:17 don't forget to remove the connector for the "TRAC OFF" button Which is under the connector for the driver heated seat

You shouldn’t have to remove the dash to access the shift cable, nor should you need it to access the lightbulb

no, it’s a smaller bulb called a T5
