      , that’s good, and glad to hear… I would definitely get the timing belt replaced and the water pump with it… It’s preventative maintenance you do that and it should last a lifetime

      Oh thanks happy Thanksgiving! Just don’t forget to plug the connector back in on the washer fluid pump before you put your bumper back on!

      @@JDMHaze I have a Rx350 and they just told me it will be about $600 to replace! lmao I told them I do cars and just came there because I was feeling lazy but I can do it within an hour. They turned around and said we're willing to do it for $250 LMAO I was like nah I got this! 🤑

    • @JDMHaze
      @JDMHaze  Před měsícem +1

      @@Ctirado247 $600 is insane, even with book time and parts it shouldnt of been that much,!!! And by the way, I have a Lexus RX330 now and I did this exact same process because that one needed a washer pump also… That’s why it’s so good to do it yourself these days

    I'm pretty sure if all you are doing is changing the pump you can turn the wheels fully left and pry the front of the wheel well open to get access to the pump.

  • @markkostelic485

    I would test the new pump before putting bumper back on.

    Can the pump motor be replaced without removing bumper, and just remove plastic around wheel?

    • @JDMHaze
      @JDMHaze  Před rokem

      It would probably be rather difficult, but removing the bumper is pretty quick and simple. I can remove the bumper in three minutes flat if that it’s just 6 to 8 bolts at the bottom, one in each wheelwell Into Philip screws on the center of the bumper where the bumper meets the inner end headlight

    I changed the pump spray in the back but not in front.

      I had the same issue,
      I literally disconnected that plastic clear connector that connects the hoses for the pump and re-connected it and it started working , sometimesnthey get clogged

    The replacement we got is not like the one you have.

      you can just search “rx300 washer fluid pump” it should be easy to find on ebay/amazon… But as long as the front is shape, the same, it’s should still fit

    • @JDMHaze
      @JDMHaze  Před rokem +1

      If you roll down the windows and try to use the windshield washer, do you hear the motor spinning? You might need to get by the right front wheel and have someone try to use the washer motor while you listen, I had a similar issue, and my hose line seem to be clogged, All I did was disconnect it, and some water came out and then I plugged it back in and it worked..

    • @JDMHaze
      @JDMHaze  Před rokem

      @@BambeTheGamer You can check the fuses but you might need a new one because the motor is dead in the pump so I would start off with replacing it, you can literally find them online for $15, I actually got one from the junkyard for like $9 or less
