I actually got heirloom shards by doing so and immediately went to the shop to see if Crypto had an heirloom. To my surprise he had a recolor and finisher which I bought immediately. Been using it ever since. I thought everyone knew about this but just didn't care since Crypto's one of the least used legends. Nice to see him getting some love since Matchin doesn't play Apex anymore (tryna take his place as #1 Crypto lol)

Hey man, I know Crypto isnt the greatest legend, but his kit is best for team fights. Finding out ways to angle his drone on surfaces is a hidden trick that takes time to master. For example, try fighting in streamer building with the drone in the zipline shaft. Unless the drone is shot, its the ultimate counter to those "Faide wannabes"
The only thing u don't like about it is, no new look animations also you can't scan beacon with it. Crypto pulls or the original to scan beacons. P.S. Quick tip if you hold to throw out drone and go into it you can pop a consumable while piloting drone
