@@petercutler5334 it was a pain to get to. The thing that worked for me was that i stopped caring. When i cared about hitting plat i could never get to it. As soon as i said screw it and didnt care anymore & just played ranked for fun thats when i got it lol

34:20 Yes, absolutely agree. The denjin charge at most, should only change heavy version into denjin version while keeping light and medium version. Same goes to denjin version hadouken.

Hashogeki is so sad when you realize it's Ryu's version of Dragonlash :D

It's worse than that. It's Ryu's version of Green Hand.
What baffles me is the pushback. Dragonlash goes over lows, an beat the start of a jump and leaves you in their face. Meanwhile hashogeki does none of those things :,)

I wish an OD input fully-charged denjin shinku hashogeki lit opponents on fire. It would have been a subtle nod to Ryu's millisecond shakunetsu from Alpha 1. Plus it would show that Ryu still has the capability to shoot shakunetsus, despite him supressing the urge.

I was wondering if most of the rush combos are only able to be done with a controller. It seems like they are next to impossible to pull off regularly with an arcade stick. I haven’t tried the hit box yet, to see if that is also the case.
That’s not true you can do them with all types of controllers normally

I played a Honda recently, and having not played many was underprepared for what transpired. This Honda player, having lost a couple of games, started spamming butt splash into hands and I didn't know what to do. I literally was overwhelmed by his spamming of this particular move. What's a good counter to it?

When I play against Hondas an they do this I try to be in a good space to were I can DI them or time it correctly an just dp the butt slam once u do this once or twice they prob will stop doing it.

I done my placement match, been plate 4, then plate 3...
im just a bag of points for the others char cast...
Im on ps4, im only good against honda/sim, some blanka.
I want capcom to speed up a litle our ryu or/ and buff him.
All the cast get insane combos, dive cancel dash, kool overhead, mix up.
Ryu get trolled with his charge, not so great dive cancel dash, too old overhead/solar plexus...
They should show more respect for this central char, cause there is no ken without ryu & there is no way ken overpower ryu (ok mode fan-service: on lol)
I think at platinum level there is still a lot of room for improvement for your gameplan before it becomes a character problem
